Peel the Paint?
words drip again
cross‑feed
cross‑fire
algorithm alleys
pushd--pulled
shoved into timelines
where truth gets mugged
in broad daylight
and nobody stops
to check the pulse
‘cause the unnaked
prefer their comfort clothed
in soft‑focus certainty
woven from whatever whispers
won’t wake them
lies swagger now
louder than sirens
wearin’ tailor‑made suits
cut from viral threads
slick seams
of almost‑true
and nearly‑real
and this’ll-do
for those too weary
or too willing
to swallow the warm glow
of deceit
no questions asked
no light allowed
just the hush
of don’t look too close
don’t peel the paint
don’t strip the costume
or it might see you back
still…
the naked be stands
barefoot on the faultline
unmasked
unfiltered
holdin’ out words
still breathing
bruised but alive
hopin’ someone
anyone
will unshutter their eyes
and risk the raw burn
of unlayered truth
to witness
what’s been there
all along:
skin without armor,
voice without varnish,
and a world still waiting
to be seen
by the brave
who dare
to unclothe their vision
and meet the naked be
as equals
