Twinkling starlit eyes enthrall my soul

Wondrous tunes dance within my heart

Sweetness fills the frosty air

Mystical candles waving too and fro

Like alabaster canyons with muted hue

Winds dancing…leaves…leaving

Reminders of what to believe…

What to imagine…what to do

Feelings overwhelm the sensitive part of me

Entering and winding like rivers

Flowing to the sea

Yet…I find myself holding on too tight

Enjoying this delicious night

Knowing birds are singing sweetly

By sound…not by seeing

My attention is all around…

But narrowed…focused on you

Whatever we like…smiling

At this moment…this part of being

Cold shivers send their messages

To every inch on me it creeps

Garlands of immeasurable ecstasy arise

To satisfy…and meet our every need

Like a tempest in time…

a calm night at sea…

It’s meant to be

Won’t fight…neither will you

This current destiny…the here and now

I can’t say we planned it…but here we are

To enjoy…only you…solely me

Wanton and open to all suggestions

By your loving skilled embrace

Lavender fragrance from your lips

Enhances your kisses taste

Can’t…it seems…to let go

I tried…ok… maybe not hard enough

But…yet to no avail

Allowing the joy…is the key

No hard philosophy…being real

Letting myself exhale

Slowly sighs begin to shatter

From deep within the depths of me

Tightening in my chest…I tell myself
