Two souls meant for each other

A breeze across my cheek, a gentle kiss, A light wind caressing my face, you are here A cliff’s edge, standing there, alone Spreading my arms out wide, And it hits me, my God the love, The warm wind, the sea hitting the rock The spray bursts forth, As my heart to you My God I love you With all that I am And all I ever will be, So gentle your kiss So gentle your eyes I see your soul And your heart is mine You belong to me, I belong to you It comes so easy So simple, so perfect, so pure What was God thinking when he saw us? So long ago at our birth Two souls looking and finally have found Something we have wished for So long the wait, but finally here It was worth the wait I am happy and so full of content and bursting The light is blinding but so warm A star exploding in my heart My arms outstretched to pull you into me You gave me this My love, my life, my soul, my gift
