Where are you my love we are waiting patiently?

As we stand here looking out at the swelling sea

I and our daughter have been here each new day

Till the moon comes up and sunlight slips away

I tell her all the love we share things we did

New adventures  await us when this war is won

Great beginnings for all of us await your return
.

Patiently we stand as the waves grab at the sand

Arms extended  feel the misty warmth of the wind

Tender thoughts i feel as I share our dream

I tell our daughter all the times we have shared

Every moment you showed us how you cared

The twilight brings silence as the wind dies away

Touching me with its serenity I silently pray

Love will conquer evil of this world

You  will return …our family once again …I pray

A good poet writes for us, for the ages, for joy of love, for the good that we can do, for our hopes and dreams, and for the wonder of communicating ideas in a special format. You have done all that, and you've done it well. Reviewers sometimes need to take off their blinders.

I may have this wrong, but I sense you are writing about all those 4 million people with had to leave their country because of evil stupidity of a few people must destroy in order to win. So many are waiting on the shore for so long, wishing and hoping that they could go back home and be a family again.

We seem to spend most of our lives waiting, don't we?
Yes, love is the answer and I believe we are here to
learn about love before we go to our next journey.

Always,
Deborah
