One Day
One day I'll stand before Him;
and in Greatness I will be-
One day I'll walk beside Him-
it'll be a glorious sight to see
On that day I'll hear the angels;
with sweet voices singing praise-
Testifying to the love of Jesus-
in the spirit of Him to raise
On that day the trumpets will blast;
tears of joy will fall-
I'll wait above the valley of peace;
to hear my name be called
On that day I'll touch him;
and know the blessings of tender youth-
I'll read from the book of eternal life-
with St. Peter; Mark and Ruth
On that day I'll bow before Him;
to worship the God of Love-
I'll join the choir of voices-
in that heavenly kingdom above
On that day there'll be a reunion;
a crowd of souls will gather-
A celebration of love and laughter-
Reunited once more together
One day I'll stand before Him;
and know in Greatness I will be-
One day I'll bow before Him-
and whisper the name of Thee
