The spooky pumpkins burning bright

On this evil haunted night

When ghouls and goblins rule the streets

Will you get their tricks or claim some treats?

The black cats moan a scary tune

While packs of wolves howl at the moon

The foggy ghosts dart through the trees

Bringing trick-or-treaters to their knees

Mean witches flitting through the skies

Directing monsters with bloody eyes

Through spells cast from a cauldron’s brew

Watch out!  They’re coming after you

The jack-o-lanterns creepy grins

Coax ghoulies from their holding pens

To frighten children, with delight

As they roam the streets this hallowed night

Fiery broomsticks cross the skies

Midst bats with glowing orange eyes

They steal the children of the night

And take them on a ghastly flight

Mummies and vampires play and sing

On hollow bones with witch hair strings

Their scary tunes fill full the night

While creatures dance in candlelight

So children of the night beware

And search for treats with special care

For in the darkened shadows, looms

Evil spirits raised from bloody tombs
