To find inner peace

I envision the whole world

Held within God’s hand

 

The light shines brightly

If we dare to look beyond

Our negative thoughts

 

Let the sun shine through

The darkness within your soul

To warm your cold heart

 

God’s healing white light

Can deliver happiness

When it shines for you

 

Peace is a concept

We must begin with our self

For it to be so

Sherry, you are so very correct. Peace comes with many definitions and depending on who's doing the defining, depends on just what facet they are coming from.
As simple as you've made it appear...is it really? and did you intend for it to have that appearance?
Again...that seems to fall on the readers own hand.
Excellent writing...but then when it comes to your poetry..nothing you do is less than excellent.
