The Passage

Lay sweetly in the arms of God

Rest gently in his grace

Soar freely on the whispering wind

In Heaven, make your place

A piece of you remains behind

To help us through our days

And I know with all my heart and soul

You’ll hold us in your gaze

It’s been a long and happy road

Together, we have trod

But time has come for you to go

And take your place with God

Though we shall miss you very

much

And life, won’t be the same

I know one day I’ll join you there

When God calls out my name
