what finally did it was deciding--in 9th grade (took me long enough)--that i wasn't going to let their remarks bother me anymore--i learned to tune them OUT. they finally saw they couldn't get a rise out of me, so they went to fresh pickings.

Me I was the youngest of seven and one of two girls. I had to learn to protect myself.
Henry, I don't ever remember being bullied, but I know a few that were..I often thought that if they'd only push back then the bully squad would leave them alone...I'm glad all these years later to learn that I may actually have been right!
