A hologram is without substance or life
A mere image of some other thing
It cannot think can't even wink
Hasn't got the moxy to sing.
It's just a reflection a pretentious projection
Like a shadow that can't find its way
Just when you think it can think it can't
So it could lead you far astray.
Here's how to test this new theory
Of what's real and what clearly is not
Pick anyone (but not a friend)
And walk up and give him a shot.
Right in the kisser or right in the nose
And if he doesn't fall he's a fake
He can't hurt you can't even convert you
You could kick his butt in a lake.
Of course the law is not long on theories
And they don't like the scientific kind
They could put you in jail without any bail
And declare you're out of your mind.
I'm kidding of course you must go to the source
And find that holograph switch
Then turn it off don't even cough
To find out if life's really a bitch.
