Life is hard even for the wealthy
They too must suffer losses misfortune and disease
But they escape all the conditions of squalor
And only they can enjoy the best of all our efforts
Most burdens are uneven yet we must find what
We can do to improve conditions for everyone–
The best things in life are free:
First, be true to yourself
Do no harm to yourself to others or to animals
The beauty of Nature is ours to behold
The gift of smiling is priceless
And so is a heartfelt thanks;
The sun and the moon are for everyone
There is magic in kindness
If you can sing do it
And if you can dance be graceful
Learn from everyone who can impart wisdom
Try harder than you think you can
Always stoop to help a child
And offer a kind word of encouragement
To those less fortunate
Rely on yourself
And follow your own star
Always.

We all owe it to ourselves to be not fallen into a rut. On many occasions I swear I could have gone there and stayed there, but I chose not to. I'd rather look around me and see what's there God has created. I feel I have just as equal chance to enjoy life as anyone else who would take the time to enjoy the roses. Nature is for everyone!
What a beautiful way to look at life. If the wealthy would re-examine their lifestyles, they could do so much to improve everyone's life rather than spending so much time trying to create more wealth while leaving for more people in their service to them sinking into poverty and squalor.
They should all get the epiphany of Andrew Carnegie, but not just create charities from their foundations, and not wait so long in life. Do what Henry Ford did, pay their workers a luxurious wage.
Sound advice for those with the insight to listen and hear. Nature is always there for us, with its knowledge and joy. We need only to take note and tap into its blessing.
