A poem about our new member of our family

Our New Member of the Family

As the hot sun shines down upon me,

As I sit in back of my parents car

As we travel oh so far

To bring home our little dog Rutsky

Whom we just got at the shelter a few minutes ago

Oh Rutsky,

Oh Rutsky,

I will always love you so,

I will care for you,

And play with you,

I will provide you with everything you need,

You’re like a seed,

I will feed you,

And give you water,

And take you out in the sun

And together we will together as one

A part of my heart will always be just for you

Two creatures bonded together

We will be buddies forever

Making moments to remember

 Now and Forever

Finally,

As time surpasses…

Vroom,

Vroom,

Vroom

We arrive home

As I hold my Rutsky ever so tight

Boy, you feel so light!

However, in that little body of yours you carry so much might!

As the bright light from the sun gleams down on us

I get out of the car

As happy as can be

Look everyone can you see

We have a new member of the family!

He’s cute,

He’s the size of Aunt Maggie’s Boot!

He has big brown eyes,

A cute wet nose,

A furry little body

And a squeaky little bark that you can hear from all the way around the block

Especially, when the clock dings or the alarm rings

Oh, what fun my life is going to be…

With my dog, Rutsky

I’ll always have a friend to play with

Someone to make me laugh

Someone to make me happy when the sky is gray

There is no better day

Like today

My little dog, Rutsky and me

Together as a family

The first day of the rest of our lives together forever

I cannot believe all my wishes and dreams have finally come true

As my dog, Rutsky, me and the rest of my family

Make moments to cherish

Times to remember

From this moment on

Now and forever

Save a life, adopt a pet today!

You sure have a lot of words to express how happy you feel about your new puppy. May he live a long and happy life with you.

I wish I could feel that feeling again, but I am finding it hard enough to take care of myself right now & I feel it wouldn't be fair on a dog to have to live like I am...hope your dogs are all well, as are you...e

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
