A different look at an ageless phenomenon

She sashayed in uprooting her hot sister, who just up and left. But, her arrival was not unexpected, she’s been doing the same thing...forever.

She, with her unique attire; stunning shades of red wine, gold and brown that are now spread all over the place, does seem to be ‘settling in’ pretty well. Admittedly, things can get quite ‘bare’ with her around, still, I do enjoy her presence and really am a little saddened to think of her leaving. However, when her sibling arrives in a couple of months, she will be on her way, only to come back again at the same time next year.

There are four of them, you know. Yes…there’s the one that just left. She’s the extremely extrovert, wild and flirty-one with her rare perfumes, while bubbling and donning unforgettable pastels and shades.

Then there’s the more subdued-one that’s here now who comes, as I’ve already mentioned, attired with frocks of such a stunning, regal splendor …they are unequaled and entirely her own.

And next, there’s one that’s soon to come, the cold one. She skis in, covered in her costly shimmering and glistening crystals jewels, worn amid strikingly, awing shades of icy blue and snow white.

And finally, then there’s the one that always shows up a few months or so after the beginning of a new year. She comes…fixing, mending, repairing, I mean she never fails to stir-things-up with an entire brand new wardrobe, each and every year.

I must tell you that it is not easy adjusting to four entirely different personalities every few months and it is certainly something that one must get used to but, considering the rich blessing in it, I don't mind it at all. You see, I know their Father. Yes, He and I are very, very good friends and have been for years. In fact, He owns the place. So, I get to stay rent free, while the siblings well, they come and go as their Father mandates.

I think it to be a pretty good ‘arrangement’...don’t you? I mean, I don’t hardly suffer from the boredom of the ‘atmosphere’ always being the same around here, as they all are so different. Also, I find that the ‘flurry’ which accompanies their arrival and departure throughout the year, somehow, invigorates me. Thus, I am always filled with the anticipation of something new and wonderful about to happen!

What’s that? Their names? Oh, didn’t I mention? No...? Well, I am so sorry about that, and they do have such lovely names. Now, let me see... there’s Spring, she’s the busy-bee that comes in the latter part March. Then there’s Summer, who just left, that arrives towards the end of June. And, Autumn, she’s the one that’s here now, who does sometimes get a little reluctant about leaving with Winter, the frigid-one, having to push her out of the door when she blows-in around the end of December.

They really are such lovely girls, who never stay here at the same time, but just keep coming and going. I love them all equally...I honestly don’t have a favorite. Why not? Well, I guess...it’s the ‘temperate’ thing, if you know what I mean.
