Barlin Ali a longtime friend and scoolmate in the good old days and the author of the book: Somali cuisine--the first of its kind and one of the most widely-read cookbooks--has travelled quite extensively in many parts of the States for training and for a book-singing mission. For the coming few days we shall be featuring Barlin's book and trainings in the Mobile Museum exhibition page. As you may know, a piece of a food item like Mufo or canjeero in the Diaspora could make you feel like reconnecting with your cultural heritage and roots of your food history.
