Was it just a dream?

We sang doxologies filled with so much adoration. We sang with our hearts and you could see tears of joy and release flowing from our eyes. The bride was among us and you could see the glow on her face. Her day had come to marry in royalty. I kept looking around for the bridegroom who was a king but i didn't see him. We were about nine of us and i was the second youngest. For some reason which is still unknown to me, we stood in a straight line - from the eldest to the youngest. Suddenly there was music everywhere. Happy songs which i can compare to wedding songs could be heard. We commenced dancing and i felt myself dance like a boneless creature.

There was serenity everywhere - such as i have never felt before. I felt no worry or fear. It felt almost as if i was floating on a cloud. I wanted this feeling to last for ever. Then the jingle bells commenced their hymns. The bride was coming and then almost suddenly, i saw the bride groom at the altar. I could not make out His face but i felt i knew that he was royalty. I knew he was a king but didn't know of his territory. I had never seen the bride before either. The only people i recognized in this grand hall was my one brother and sisters.

Everybody else was a stranger even though there was so much love in the atmosphere. Suddenly, the bride stood like a frozen statue at the middle of the aisle. It was then i saw a woman. She was beautiful and looked extremely happy. She possessed the aura of tranquillity. As she came close, i recognized her as my mummy and i marvelled at her beauty. I was so happy to see her after such a long time. She came close to the bride who respectfully bowed her head and then mummy took the beautiful tiara adorned with diamonds of all shapes and colours from her head and placed it on my head. There was clapping in the grand hall and even the bride seemed ecstatically happy.

The tiara was on my head and i felt so much tranquillity and a joy i have never felt before! 'Trrrrrrr!' Went off the alarm clock by my bedside with a start. I woke up! I wish i could see my tiara again!
