The Faint Signal
The world is full of wonders. The scientists aren’t only those who wear lab coats, we all are. This material world is the whole laboratory to practice harnessing energy and shifting through frequencies. To develop more of our imagination, is the purpose of this school. I am developing mine profusely. It is needed in my job as a postman. These so called phenomena of our world will never open up if I don’t carry an open advanced imagination.
“Theo, wake up.” it was Eric. This time, he was only wearing swimming trunks with dark shades to cover his eyes.
“I think you should have gone to the beach first before waking me up.”
“Time for your second assignment.” he sounded serious.
“Okay, as if I have a choice.” I fixed myself up and got some decent clothes, a shirt and a pair of pants.
“You better hurry.”
“You always are in a hurry.”
He handed me the letter. This one was addressed to Kesha Reznik, there was no return address. Out of curiosity, I tried to open it. It only disintegrated into thin air and reassembled back in my hands again. Eric laughed at me.
“Only the recipient can open the letters we deliver, Theo.”
“This doesn’t have a return address.”
“Nope. And that is not our concern. Focus on the letter in your hand so you can feel Reznik’s energy.”
I closed my eyes and laid all my attention on the letter on my palm. In it I felt so much warmth, joy, and happiness. I focused more and her image started to appear. She was radiant, vibrant, and her beauty was captivating. She had long blond hair, white skin, blue pupils, and her smile made it hard to look away. She was in a garden, tending to her white and red roses.
“Wow!” I exclaimed as I opened my eyes. “I love feeling her energy!” She felt like the calmness of a Sunday morning while sitting next to a whispering stream and the hype of a Friday whilst going home.
“Okay, you captured her essence. Time to go to her and deliver the letter.”
“That’s it?”
“Yeah, you learn fast. Congrats.” And just like that he disappeared.
I proceeded in recapturing the scene, the image, and how it felt. I gave the garden the tangible reality of a material world. Like it did in the past, my room was slowly fading before my eyes and recreating the garden filled with roses. I felt the soft grass under my bare feet. The sweet fragrance of the roses caressed the air. And there I was, standing in front of her. She was startled. Clearly, she was not expecting me.
“Who are you?” she demanded.
“I’m the messenger.”
“The what?”
“I’m Theo. I have a letter for you.” I took out the letter from my pocket and handed it to her. She was looking at me baffled. Before her fingertips can even grace the letter, it disappeared from sight.
“What just happened?” I asked her.
“You tell me. I’m peacefully having my time with my garden.”
The letter reappeared in my hand. I gave it to her once more. She took it. Again, it disintegrated. The letter was back in my hands.
I was also confused. “Kesha Reznik?”
“Yes?”
“I don’t get it.”
It’s not her. It was Eric communicating in my head.
“Kesha Reznik, right?”
“Yes, I am. However, I don’t think that is meant for me.”
I scratched my eyebrow as I was beyond confused. Feeling embarrassed in front of a beautiful maiden, I quickly apologized. “Thank you for not screaming at me. I am sorry for intruding your peaceful moment here.”
She smiled at me and I felt the sweetness of it. “Well I-“ I scratched my eyebrow again as I was stammering.
“It’s okay. Here-“ she was giving me an delicate white rose.
I took the flower from her hand, careful not to touch the thorns. I smiled back at her timidly.
Come back. It was Eric, he surprised me that I pricked myself with the rose’s thorns. The pain was faint but I felt it. Darkness swiftly engulfed my mind. What is this? I asked myself. Where did this come from?
Now! It was Eric again. Theo!
I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. I pictured out my room once more.
When I opened my eyes, I was back in my room. Eric was sitting on my swivel chair by the desk, looking at me.
“I thought you were gone.”
“Did you catch it?” he adamantly asked.
“What?” I looked at my hand and there was a swollen dot. It hurt a little. Suddenly, the darkness reappeared. This time it swallowed my entire room. I felt heavy and burdened. Emotions I haven’t felt for the longest time seem to make a comeback. Panic was starting to rise, paired with depression, indecisiveness, and aloneness. I became nauseated and wanting to vomit.
Breathe deeply, Theo.
And I did.
Allow your hormones to dissolve through breathing.
I calmed down and followed his words.
Put in your mind’s eye a happy memory, focus on that.
The light instantly reemerged and flooded my entire room. “Welcome back. Good job.”
I took a few more deep breaths. I was sweating! “What was that?”
“Did you catch it?”
“Catch what?”
“The feeling, Theo. The chaos and absence of light.”
“I did. How can I miss that?”
“Great. Do it again.”
“What?” I was astounded.
“That’s her.”
“Kesha Reznik? But her energy feels different from the letter.”
“Yeah, from the letter, that is the version of her that contains a different frequency from the one the letter is intended to.”
“There are two Kesha’s?” I asked him. Can we make this more confusing?
“There is only one Kesha, just having different spectrums of herself. Thus, there is a difference in frequency and vibration which is evident by the difference in time and place.”
“Okay.”
“The darkness you felt is the version of her that you need to deliver the letter to.”
“Oh.”
“I’m glad the rose thorn got you. The pain ‘though faint, led you to her frequency.”
“The version of her that is the opposite of all the positive energy I have seen and felt when she was in her garden.”
“Not opposite but the absence of light. But enough with this. Go to her. That absence of light that you felt is your guiding compass towards her. So go back and feel that once more.”
I tried to protest but as if I have a choice.
“Come on, Theo. Souls on Earth like you spent lifetime after lifetime wandering in the dark, pretending that is your normal frequency. I’m sure feeling down is no challenge for you.” He was mocking me.
“Great.” So I proceeded in feeling it once more to get to her.
I summoned all my attention in feeling the state of despondency. The lowness, unsureness, and not knowing where you stand in the world. That feeling of being so little, the hopelessness, and overwhelming gloom- the very manifestation of evil. I whispered her name. “Kesha.”
I heard someone sniffing as if she had been crying.
“I’m all emptied out.” I heard her say.
I opened my eyes and it was the same beautiful face I have encountered moments ago, but there was a huge difference. This one had no life, no vibrancy, and no color as if she was in black and white screen. As what she said, it was empty. She felt so heavy, making it a bit hard to breathe.
“What happened?” I didn’t realize I was thinking out loud.
“This place ruined me.” she softly said. “But I’m about to leave.”
That was when I saw the rope over her head.
“I- I feel so alone. I have always been on my own. I want to end this.”
“Kesha-“
“You can’t make me change my mind.”
“No. But-“ I handed her the letter. “This might help reignite your spark.”
It took her a few seconds. Hesitancy filled her eyes, but decided to receive the letter. Before her fingertips touched the envelope, it disintegrated into thin air, and a stunning white rose in full bloom appeared in front of her. It was the same one from her garden. She touched the softness of it petals and adored its sweet gentle fragrance. Memories of who she was when she was tending her garden flooded her mind and body. It was a swift energy that overtook her whole being. She was starting to light up. The gloom was starting to disappear. Her cheeks started to acquire a reddish tint color. Finally, it felt like ages, but she smiled. Tears were down her face. But it was of happiness. She was being reminded of who she was before she became empty, ruined, broken. The whole place started to light up as well. That was when I knew, we were out in the open field under an old Oak tree. The energy was no longer dense. It was all that needed to reignite her spark, her white rose.
Out of nowhere, a small spaceship appeared. Its door opened and it revealed four Beings, her family. They all look like of Nordic descent. They all came running out and approached Kesha, her mom, dad, and two younger brothers who are twins.
“Kesha!” the twin brothers called out to her.
“I missed you so much, my love.” It was her mom.
“We’ve been sending you messages!” her brother said exasperated.
“Yes dear.” It was her dad. “But our signals are too faint for you to be felt especially with the diminishing spark you have.”
“That is true . We couldn’t get a hold of you. You were going on and off our radar. It was hard to locate your frequency.” Her mom touched her face and kissed her forehead.
“Harboring too much negative thoughts made it hard for you to hear us. We became faint signals to you.
So we asked the services of a messenger to give you the rose.” Added her dad. “That was when we got a stronger signal from you. We all jumped in joy. We missed you!”
“I’m glad you are all here.” Said Kesha.
“Let’s go home!” one her brothers excitedly exclaimed.
“Our whole planet misses you, dear.” Her dad told her.
“Yes, the trees, the soils, the air, the ocean and seas, we’ve been calling out to you. We want you so much to feel our love. Even the stars in our galaxy have been crying out for you.”
“Let’s go back home, mom.”
Her dad kneeled on the ground. Thanked Earth for the lessons and experiences it gave their daughter. And it was time to go.
“Messenger-“ it was Kesha’s father. “Thank you for locating our daughter. We can’t do it ourselves. We aren’t equipped like you are- messengers. You trained yourselves to do that. Us, we use a ship to locate specific frequencies or destination through space and time.”
“Theo.” Said Kesha. “Thank you for bringing my family here.”
“It’s my job.” I winked at her.
I watched as they closed the door of their ship and ascended from the ground. I was so amazed seeing them fly up and become one of the stars in the lovely night sky.
Imagination is my tool in feeling different frequencies. It makes it easier for me to travel through time and space. In days to come, I would like to harness it more and more to sharpen my aim. So that I am always at the right place and time. The frequency points me to the exact coordinates of our clients, provided that I am able to catch the feeling first.
