This is the beginning of a werewolf filled book. Many beasts will be present. If you are familiar with WoD--werewolves, than you will understand the various names. Expect different.

Notes For those familiar with WoD Werewolves, you will begin to see names like "Red Talon" and others devices to begin trying to figure out what you will be reading, or dealing with in this book. I welcome all comments, and hope you will continue to read on.
Twelfth Jurisdiction, Down Town New Orleans Court House, one thirty-five p.m. On March 30th this year.

~~

"We, the city of New Orleans do here by award the plaintiff, Miss Kalonice no monetary reward, but do grant her, and the ranch known as Speed Way Farms- custody of the animal known as 'Rock shocker'. All other animals to be removed by the state. If Miss Kalonice wishes to apply with the local animal protection agency, for further action, she may after the thirty-day quarantine of said animals is up, and the current owner loses his right to posses these animals, thereof." With the tap of the judge's gavel, the judgment had been concluded, and final. Papers were signed before, anyone had the chance to begin protesting.

Miss Kalonice seemed to be highly disappointed with the judgment, but held a cunning silence, looking only to the previous owner of Rockshocker. Staring into his very being, gauging up his existence as if this would be the final time he was allowed to mistreat wolves, or other animals. That very stare, made Doctor Jarvis quite unnerved, while his attorney merely grinned over at Miss Kalonice, eyes flashing an unnatural shade of crimson.

"We that focking judge is horseshit. His judgment ain't right miss Kalonice, nope, he gots to get punished. They didn't even lock his ass up in jails, no they didn't nope, no." Said an old man, sitting behind Miss Kalonice, who seemed transfixed, staring coldly at the leaving attorney and client.

"Miss, it does us no good to use this system. Why does you keep comin' back to them? They're pathetic and stupid. They don't know jack shit from a hole in me bowels. Gah, they makes me want to rip out the . . . i . . . r . . ." he was cut off in mid-sentence by a grasping hand, on the circumference of his throat.

"Silence!" A simple command, that made the old man give off a strange whimper, followed by a nod.

Miss Kalonice stood abruptly, releasing the old man's throat that no one seemed to notice, got grabbed and placed into a vice-like grip. The woman stood proud and defiant against the judgment. "At least one will be coming home today. That is better than none, and more dead than I care to allow. You will be careful with what you say in town, and near any other human. Do you understand, Mister Bones?" Slowly, the woman turned, glaring down at the old man, who trembled under the icy glance from this woman.

"Yes Mistress, of course. I just wasn't thinkin' ya knows how I gets.?"The old man cowered slightly, moving to itch at his nose in a quickened pattern, snort and rise up himself.

"So, we goings to be getting him now? Do we drive out there and . . . " Once again the old man seemed to be ignored? Miss Kalonice grabbed all of the paperwork, and walked out of the courtroom. An obvious aura of displeasure in the air.

"Gosh, golly gee . . . " The man trotted off, following the woman, hoping she had not ran off without him. It was a really long walk home.

"Ya know, it just isn't right. They be gettin' away with murder you see, and that we don't likes, you see." He bellowed, closing in on the woman, who was had come to a stop at the clerk's window, signing more paperwork, permissions and other things the old man wasn't familiar with. A giant sigh left him before he continued. "You business women are all the same." He peered in at the portly clerk, with otherwise unremarkable features. "Cranky and in need of a good tryst.out in yonder hills. Oh yea, all needing to be . . ."

"Don't worry about him, he's a little . . ." Miss Kalonice did a jester of rolling her finger near her head, signifying the old man wasn't 'at home' anymore. The woman didn't seem amused, but nodded in understanding.

"Yeah, my old man lost it before he died four years back." An audio able sigh and a half later, the woman date-stamped, and sealed the paperwork, handing the copies to Miss Kalonice. "It's just best to put them in a home, and forget them sometimes you know what I mean? Probably better than letting good people be exposed to their, well situations." The woman nodded, just as Miss Kalonice offered a fake chuckled, followed by a glare to the old man at her side.

"Good luck, Miss Kalonice. See you next week." the well-rounded woman spoke, as Miss Kalonice began to collect the papers, then turn to walk out of the courthouse.

"Of course Miss Winters. You too." Miss Kalonice called back, not bothering to look back. Miss Winters held so much weight, it was a wonder that anyone could find a chair to support hefty self.

The old man trotted on behind his mistress, panting like an old, disturbed man, cackling away at anyone who dared to take at a glance at his odd self. "Weee, this sure is fun, getting out and about again. So glad you took me mistress. Oh yes, better than a near-steak dinner, and rounds. Oh yes, oh yes!" Gitty as ever, the old companion was.

Miss Kalonice didn't speak back to the old man, until she pressed the button of her 2004 chevy suburban. It had magnet logos in the passenger side, and driver's side. Both had her business' name and sporty symbols with; 'Speed Way Farms', we protect what others dare not see.' Several styles of wolf-like patterns in black, running along the bottom and top as a border to the logos. The suburban itself, was white.

"Do you ever shut up, Mister Bones?" she said, opening the unlocked door, in a tone that sounded anything but thrilled.

"Why . . . I just don't, gets you. Always so serious!" He chuckled, opening up her own door, and hopping into the very back of the suburban, and stretching out. "Stretching me bones never felt so good. So . . . "Hearing his mistress' doors slam shut, he grinned to himself. "When do we go pick up this new additions, hm? Me is getting all excited to meet this Boneshocker. With some names like this, hes gots to be bigger than Docky. And she will get no satisfaction being reduced by a merf."

Miss Kalonice, a reserved, very partial person sat in the driver's seat, trying to start, back the large vehicle and listen to an insufferable prat at the same time. "You can shut up at any time, Mister Bones." Someone beeped their horn, as Miss Kalonice almost rammed into them, while backing up. Jerky motions made her that much more cranky-looking.

From the very back of the suburban, up against the window, the person who honked, would now see an extended arm, with a single digit directed, at them. "Ah fock you, you stupid mongrel of a man!" Mister Bones spurted out, while making several faces at them, baring teeth, and barking like a lost, demented fool. "Oh yeah, yous is so big, come and get some your parker bitch!"

Quickly, Miss Kalonice drove off, squealing tires, and trying as hard as she could to 'keep the peace.' She didn't wish to bail out Mister Bones again. He had always caused some disturbance, ending up in a massive brawl, biting people, and costing her more than she would care to pay today. At least she remembered to secure the safety child locks this time. She mused, remaining rather silent all the way back to the ranch. Occasionally turning up the music station, just to block out Mister Bone's rants, raves, and bragging of his long since-gone prowess.

Driving up the gravel road that lasted about two miles, twisting and turning, she turned down the radio, wondering what got Mister Bones so quit. Daring a glance back, she smiled. The old thing was lying in the back, legs up and twitching like he was running after some pray. "At least he shut up?" She mused, turning her attention back onto the road. Memories began to swamp her as th silence would continue that two mile-strip of road.

It seemed like just yesterday that Miss Styx Kalonice had been born a freak. Born of a mated pair of werewolves, some metis to be haunted for life with a deformity. Hers was not as bad as some of the others that have been documented over the ages. Just a too long tail, with too much fluff. A pretty little thing, despite her deformity, so much so, that jealous has sprung up between the others of the Kalonice, kinfolk tribe.

At the tender age of eight, the female had been shipped a distance from the other kinfolk, and given a small sum of money, a small parcel of land, and the message to learn how to fend for herself. Though, with some guidance from an elderly female, that had died two years ago. This female had a hard idea of life, and taught the very roots of surviving the human world.

Styx grew an unsociable lust for knowledge, but not of a normal blooded tribe's person, no, she went to the extra, and longed to learn of the human world. Forgiven for her soiled, impure blood, the girl was allowed to take on a human form, and attend a local, small school house. Ecstatic, and ever-learning, this young female soon rarely took on her true form, and stayed as long as possible in human schools, gaining a certain popularity, until high school.

It was here the male human tried confusing her, and ended up getting bit, smacked down, or otherwise hurt, that the tribe deciding to steal her away, and begin teaching her the way of mating rites, rituals, and expressing upon her that kicking everyone's ass, was not the way to deny a human male. Sure, it was a major insult, and baffling, but one should only mate once, when they absolutely had to, for it was a terrible deed. A gross, vicious, nasty, hideously, ugly deal, that ended you with barren. Then later told, that the male species in itself, were just not worth dealing with. They had only primal, basic instincts, and were rarely worth the effort to explain much to. Just use, abuse and deny them their urges.

Styx grew into a prideful example of the tribe, showing decent progress, so they again wished her back out into the human world. She would be their close link to the outside world. A link that could prove value, eventually. She knew how to speak their tongue well, and held a certain love for hanging around amongst their ranks. Ever the useful tool. She soon went off to college, and graduated from a local, two-year, with a degree in animal science, then upgraded it to a four-year degree, and raised it again to a master's. Later, she figured that getting involved with politics would benefit, so she minored in political science as well, highly satisfied with the growing knowledge on her plate.

It was in her maturing years, that the tribe realized a compassionate side of Styx, when she saved a battered up, old red talon male, whom she named 'Mister Bones.' Her tribe did not seem to upset by the new addition, only shoved Styx and that new waft back out into the small parcel of land, with minimal supervision. Styx and the old waft seemed to be doing well on their own. That small parcel of land became an acre, followed by another, and another? Soon the girl learned to purchase, gain credit and deal with the local populace. Even the males.

Soon Styx owned enough land to get the city of New Orleans to grant her a ranch, or farm license, and then all hell broke loose. The girl's ever growing compassion for animals, or the abused, mistreated women of New Orleans, gave her a new direction: a savior of the abused. Many abused wolves seemed to find their way onto the farm's lands.

Styx began to get into trouble for possessing other people's animals, without rights or affects to do so. Left and right, Styx began to lose her positions, money and standing within the city. Soon, she knew she had to take actions within the law, and grasp all of its tricky angles.

Soon, the girl began to train to be a paralegal with the renown, domestic violence firm known as, Jenkins, Karel and Jenkins. Within just months, they taught the girl all the loopholes, and turnpike to really start nailing people, and beginning to gain ground. Also, they began to look at the girl with a sharp eye, seeing that she could provide them with extra earning potential, and attention. She gave them more of what they needed, and they gave her all that she needed. A sweet deal, for both sides.

Miss Styx Kalonice would soon be a pinprick in many wolf breeders' sides, and dirty, rotten, abusive human men as well. Murders of women dramatically fell in the city of New Orleans, and many wondered if -she- had anything to do with the disappearing of men. Nothing has yet to point a finger at Miss Kalonice, her farm or any of those sheltered within the one hundred and eight-six acre area she occupied. Besides, how much damage could one woman, and an old man cause?
