Success Story
In February, I entered www.poetry.com 's poetry contest, not thinking twice about actually winning, or even getting as far as I was recently notified. Receiving a letter in the mail from their site, notifying me, that I was a semi-finalist for the running, with the poem "Valentine." This is a great accomplishment for a new poet, even if it wasn't 'winning', it was further than expected. Feel free to look my poem up on www.poetry.com. Even enter it yourselves, readers. Best of luck to you all. Never give up on your expressions, no matter what people think.
