     ... ... ... computer love ... ...

MAIL 1:

“You have mail,” the screen blinked, with the words dancing before her eyes

Staring at the 21” monitor, she chews on the lower lip

Her heart doing somersaults and her stomach in knots slowly, she reaches for the mouse

“Its him,” she breathes in, her heart pumping at 200 mph!

Quickly looking if there is anybody behind she opens the mail

“I want to run a bath for you, my Ebony queen,” he starts,

“With wild flowers from the Serengeti and Kalahari fragrancing the water.

Candle light playing with your moistened soft, caramel brown skin,

Velvety and warm, brown and sweet – like honey combed chocolate,

Your kisses will be worth more than the Tanzanite to me,” she sighed as she went-on reading the mail.

Suddenly she was interrupted by a car driving into the porch outside

Looking at herself she became shocked and aware that her breasts were thrusting hard against her top

And her nipples ached – a sure sign of arousal.

With one last look at the screen, she quickly switched off her computer,

Licking her lips, she rearranged herself

Then recollecting herself, she took a long breath and stepped out

MAIL 2:

Quickly finishing preparing lunch she rushed to her now favourite room in her house – the study room

She drew the curtains to let the warm afternoon sun in then switched on her computer

“Every time I hear from you something magnetic pulls me and I can’t move

Disoriented I can’t tell my ups from down

All I know is I want to lay you down

I want to run my fingers through your sun-kissed dreads,

And let love rain down on you

I want to love you like you need to be loved,

Baby, tonight is your night, tonight you blow out the candle light,” like a ritual, again she sighed.

The room got suddenly very hot.  She felt dizzy, hot and flushed.  She felt warm between her thighs.

Quickly she unbuttoned the top button of her black linen shirt

He was fresh like a breath of fresh air.  Hot, vibrant and spicy like the spice island of Zanzibar.

It was magic the way she felt, pure electricity

A feeling that had been long dead within her

She felt inspired and afraid at the same time

DELIVERY:

Clutching her handbag with the print-out of details of their meeting place she walked towards the door

As she reached for it, she remembered she still had a wedding band on

She quickly slipped it off and blocked off any guilt feeling from her almost dead marriage

Instead she felt liquid with the release from months of remorse and self denial

Candles burning low, oils burning scents, soul music in the background - just the way she likes it

Bathtub with warm water all bubbling up, with a champagne bottle chilling on the side

As she was undressing to get in the jacuzzi she had an uneasy feeling

That they had started too quickly and soon to go to far

She didn’t know whether to leave or stay.

Suddenly she heard the suite door opening.  She then quickly got in the tub.

The bathroom door opening, she was greeted with a doorway filled with sea-form white roses

Through which poked a champagne bottle - just the way she likes it

Signing she remembered the days when her beau was romantic and had all the time for her

She quickly erased the thoughts and concentrated on the visitor she was eagerly awaiting for, lifting her leg seductively and exposing a nipple

As his face appeared behind the bouquet, she quickly reached for a towel,

“My God!  Jeff!!!!!”  she screamed while covering her nakedness

“Mom!!!!”

alright, then...more humor, unexpectedly, every parent's nightmare. the buildup for this one was masterfully done, i could feel the passion in the narrative voice, the need, desire expressed being an expression of her inner being, long denied...such is life and you hit upon this truism in an accessible and universal way. kudos, writer!

Scintillating and riveting as always. You'll never cease to amaze me ... in a good way. Diction, spiced with that "Africaness" that corrodes your writing, simply great reading. Keep doing ur thang Pookie !!!! Bems

You wench, you! I had prepared myself for another dull, unexciting, droning little story. Then, as I began to read I sstarted seeing talent emerge from the words of your story. It kept me pretty well engrossed until I got to the "Delivery," then my pulse quickened and I began to read faster. Let me just say this about the coup de grace . . . Fan-fucking-tastic!
