Twilight hour, the sun setting on them both, and although they can read each other so well, it is sad to know what goes loudly unsaid between them. A good steak, a bit of arousal in an octegenarian, and then...Is that all there is to one's life? this reader ponders....
The ending needs fleshing out somehow-it's rather abrupt. What else does Mel wonder or think...
