You told me you'd be there for me no matter what happened. When I was feeling hopeless, when I wanted it all to end, that's when I needed you the most, but you were nowhere to be found.
Why are you never around when I need you? Why do you always leave me hanging on the line, listening to the silence instead of your soothing voice that brings me comfort and keeps me going in a world that seems to pull me down deeper and deeper with every breath that I take?
It's like you don't exist. It's like I don't matter. Why do you stick around? You might as well not exist.
More and more we find individuals like these. It is for us to be aware of our own value and learn to cherish ourselves. That way we do not need people like these.
