Daddy, you had no middle name, but if you had, it should have been INTEGRITY. Instead of just dreaming, even though you had little formal education, you worked to make those dreams a reality. No job was too menial for your hands. You were tall, but your gregarious personality made you even taller. You were a thinker, a man with plans. Your mind and pen were always busy planning and figuring ways to make money with one investment or another. Many sought your opinion and advice. Your laughter resounded when you told one of your funny stories. It was known you loved the music of Elvis and Johnny Cash, but not everyone knew how you loved to dance.
But the thing that made you so wonderful to me was the simple fact you were MY DADDY. I was blessed, and that's an understatement. You've been gone since 1977, but I continue to miss and love you.
