ADDENDUM TO THE ARTICLE: 1-17-2021

       Earlier, in the article below, I stated  why I believe the events of the first century following the "Pentacost" event have been repeated in the last 150 years, IN REVERSE ORDER. I ended by predicting that the only event remaining before Christ can return is another Pentacost-type event.

     Last June, Pastor Dana of Burkesville, Ky, posted on Youtube a avideo on three prophetic dreams he had in December of 2019 that have since all come true .concerning the Corona Virus.

        He has since posted a new video of another phophetic dream he had in August, 2020, in which he saw many churches across the land filled with believers, and on the altars of each was a burning fire that rose up and lit over eacn member's head, just as happened at the first Pentacost.. IS THIS THE NEXT EVENT AND WILL IT SIGNAL THE RETURN OF CHRIST?

It would be strange to go to a movie theater and have the projectionist run the movie backward so that events that should happen in the beginning, happen at the end of the movie.

Strange as it seems, we are re-living events that happened in the first century AD, except in reverse order chronologically. I have listed below seven significant events that took place after Jesus’ death that seem to be recurring over again, except in reverse order. 

1.     Jesus’ return to Heaven, leaving the Earth

2.     The event at Pentecost with the Holy Spirit coming down to the disciples and spreading over the Earth, creating the Church.

3.     Newly converted Christians had to worship in their homes for fear of persecution from Roman authorities.

4.     The church expands exponentially with thousands of new converts.

5.     Rome invades the Jews’ homeland in 67 AD scattering the inhabitants.

6.     In 70 AD Jerusalem is destroyed by the Roman army.

7.     All Jews are expelled from their homeland and are scattered by the Roman army to the far corners of the Earth. Rome declared it illegal for a Jew to own property or live in their former homeland. 

In 1917 an event took place that allowed Jews to return legally to their homeland and own land for the first time in 1900 years. It was called the “Balfour Declaration”. This reversed number 7 above.

In 1948 Israel was created as a nation again and the 1967 “Six Day War” returned Jerusalem to the Jews, reversing number 6 above.

Since 1967 we have seen Jews come back from all corners of the world to re-inhabit the homeland, reversing number 5 above.

In the past 20 years, we have see a decline in both membership and attendance of Christians, in the church, reversing the trend in number 4 above.

The past 3 months have seen an event none of us have seen in our lifetime, a pandemic. It has forced Christians to do something that hasn’t happened since the early history of the church. Worldwide, Christians have been forced to worship in their homes and are forbidden to attend church. How many of us expected to see that in our lifetime.

 In addition, Christians have been persecuted as never before by “authorities” in government who have an agenda against Christianity. This action has not been seen since Rome made Christianity the official religion. All of these actions seem to be a reversal of number 3 above.

The events of the first 100 years have been completely undone, all except the first two.

In event number two above, the Holy Spirit came down at Pentecost and created the church. The reverse of that event would be for the Holy Spirit to leave the Earth and return to Heaven. Since the church exists because the Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of all Christians, it would have to take the church with it. That would be the reverse of number 2 above.

Christians would call such an event “the Rapture”.  When Jesus said, “I must leave in order for the Comforter, (“Holy Spirit”), to come”, it is clear that for Jesus to return to the Earth, the Holy Spirit must leave. That event would make it possible for Jesus to return to the Earth, the reverse of number one above.

         Are we reliving the first century in reverse? Only time will tell, but if what I’ve shown is true , then what has happened in the last 3 months has shown us that we are not far from the last two events that began all that has been described as happening in the first century AD. By that measure, the next event on the calendar would be what I would call another Pentecostal-type event, or “The Next Pentecost.
