The view from my balcony in Reykjavik leaves everyone absolutely breathless!

 The Fantastic View From My Balcony!
My apartment is on the third floor in a seven floor block in Efra-Breidholt (Upper Broadhill) which some funny guys called Golan Heights.
This large block of a building can been seen from allover in Reykjavik, and it is the highest in our street Vesturberg.
I truly find the view from it quite remarkable and very mind strengthening, where I sit by my computer busy writing.
When looking at the walls inside I can see all kinds of pictures, amongst them a beautiful picture of a naked woman with long billowing blond hair, which I cross-stitched back in 1976 when I was on the rehabilitation ward at Grensas, but also a lot of photos which I´ve chosen to put up on the walls instead of hiding them in albums, photos of my three sons, the children of my brother and sister, my parents, other relatives and friends.
But if I turn my head to my left side out through the large livingroom-windows quite a different world gets revealed before my eyes!
The next house is KASKO, a low price store, that happened to start business in the same month and year I moved to the capital, by sheer coincidence I might add, in September 1999.
We both came from Keflavik on the Sudurnes.
Matter of factly a store with the same name had been my favorite store back there located in my vicinity.
In front of the store there are three yellow flags on poles with its name in red letters.
On the store´s other side there´s a long line of two floor pretty houses standing side by side attached to one another with glass houses on the garages.
Only a few houses in Reykjavik have chimneys, only those that have a built-in fireplace, the reason being that most houses in Iceland are heated with hot water from underground.
Behind these houses standing up on the "Golan-Heights just as my house there´s a marvellous view; lots of pretty houses of all sizes and makes, amongst them two beautiful churches standing high, high trees by most houses and the small forest on Oskjuhlid (-hill) where the tremendously beautiful Perlan (The Pearl) is located on top of ...
