Once again, the media and the FDA has lied to us by silence, for the love of stinking money. And from recent FDA findings, sex supplements might kill you too.
For those curious on the sex supplements for men, click here: http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/11/02/fda.supplement.warning.ap/index.html) At least your hand won't kill you down there.
Now, let's shuffle on back to the "E" story y'all:
It is no surprise that the AMA (American Medical Asylum) is in constant fear of losing money and credibility with the advocacy of natural methods of healing. If flu shots were a penny per vial, I still wouldn't put that poison in this little black body. And I'm proud to say that yes, I still take, and will continue to take Vitamin E that is included in my supplements of choice. (See Nutrilite.com)
Of course we should not just jump to conclusions that all medicine is bad if the media says it is bad. Nor should we do the opposite, and all run out and buy a box of Vioxx because our best friend is president of Merck. The best thing we can all do is live our lives in a way where we never need to put our lives in the hands of people in white lab coats who say we need this and that and yadda yadda.
I happen to know the individual very well who wrote the article link below on Vitamin E. He's helped give us advice that kept my spouse's PSA level (prostate cancer risk) from going up any further, thus preventing a 7th prostate tissue biopsy. Too much fat in the body can lead to a lot of bad stuff. Since reading Dr. Chet's (Chester Zelasko's) free newsletters, I've given up a lot of things like white bread and anything that doesn't start out as a root, edible sea creature or poultry chick at birth.
Now if I would only exercise on a regular basis. Sharing this with you here in the Den to pass along to some other person. God does not speak through the medical profession. Nature's been talking a long time, but doctors for the most part would rather leave us addicted to unsafe drugs and vaccines, and shut their ears to the Earth Mother's wisdom.

I have been taking vitamin E since I read a 1979 study published in a Readers Digest of that year in which two groups of rats were placed in tanks of water for hours to swim until they could no longer keep their eyes open and drowned. One group took vitamin E, the other didn't. The group that didn't was autopsied and many physical ailments were present including ulcers. The vitamin E group was autopsied and they were in perfect health at their deaths. In other words, if the rat groups were pulled out of the water at the eleventh hour and permitted to live, the vitamin E group would have gotten on with their lives where they had left off while the non-vitamin E group would have languished in the rat hospital trying to recover from their physical ailments.
More important than taking vitamin E is avoiding tap-water. But that's a different story.
Peace, Robert
