When I posted my little article about the secret, this is one of the Reviews which followed. LIZ is my mentor here, and the originator of the course I took at home, just two years ago.

Please take time, and read several times, what she says here. There’s a great TRUTH therein.

Sometimes we hear or read something, and for some reason — maybe just the ‘timing’ isn’t right? But as she says, we just don’t ‘get it.’ Somehow she has nailed it -- ‘the right combination of WORDS’ at ‘the right Time!’


E. Lucas-Taylor:- I have been teaching this for many years. Self-discovery is wonderful. The world is bigger, brighter, full of opportunity, fascinating things and people, and sometimes the fascinating "things" are people. I'm glad you got so much out of the class, Tom. The information certainly isn't new, said in many different ways by many people over many centuries, and I think we all come to information when we need it. We need the right combination of words to "get it." Thanks again for all the kudos.

Could it be that the REAL SECRET IS ---- SELF-DISCOVERY? As I look back, across these many years of growing, and learning, and just ‘living’ life ---- I am Happy and Grateful for almost ALL of it --- WHY? Perhaps it is the simple process of DISCOVERY? Sometimes we don’t realize and appreciate exactly what or who we have been Blessed with... at that particular moment; then somehow, somewhere, sometime later, APPRECIATION finally DAWNS on us.

Life itself is a busy, busy thing — hopes, dreams, aspirations, goals, loves, feelings, emotions, both good and bad fortunes, searching, striving, absorbing facts and figures and dates and history, and yes, by all means – meeting PEOPLE!

Just think of the fascinating array of both individuals and groups that we meet on this wonderful journey. Each is unique. Each can be a powerful influence... or not! Each has his or her own ‘agenda’... And sometimes we have a part, or a ‘role’ to play in it. Sometimes, just a split-second ‘CAMEO’ performance, perhaps a smile across a crowded room... Sometimes a lifetime of sharing and caring. The odds and possibilities are unlimited, not unlike the sands upon the beach, or the myriads of stars within the heavens. But, ultimately, it is the ‘SELF’ that must CHOOSE to acknowledge, and participate in the unfolding of this vast UNIVERSE.

Maybe each of us simply needs to learn to EMBRACE each day, and live it as if it were our last? Could this really be “The Secret?” It is said that people regret the things that they ‘failed to do’... Not the things they did?

Someone once wrote that the Secret to Success was that: “Successful people do the things that failures fail to do!”

Could ‘The Secret’ possibly be that ‘There IS NO Secret?’ ... ALL IS POSSIBLE! ...

“Faith can move mountains!” ... “Ask, Seek, Knock!” ... “Thy Actions Alone Determine Thy Worth!” ... Carpe Diem philosophy - “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow ye may die!” ... “There Is More In You!” ... “Conceive – Believe – Achieve!” ... “Believe – Achieve – Receive!” ... From The DESIDERATA... “You are a Child of The Universe...”

In closing, are not the above citations exactly what Elizabeth has said? Since the Dawn of Creation, man has strived to find the Purpose of Life... And most Philosophers, or religious Leaders, or Persons of Great Integrity or Intellect have given us the same ROADMAP... Just a different viewpoint or combination of WORDS!

In this modern technological age of computer jargon and sometimes misplaced aphorisms, I recently ‘coined’ the following:
