AMERICA - HOW CAN WE FIX THEE?
LET ME COUNT THE WAYS!

Rather than posting just another of my rants - bitching and moaning, whining and complaining,
I thought I might attempt a more positive, constructive approach. To that end, here goes nothing!


1. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS - the BEST way possible, BRING THEM ALL HOME NOW - ASAP - POSTHASTE - IMMEDIATELY! Not only will this action save lives, but it will also save our WASTED TAX DOLLARS from being crookedly BLOWN on WARMONGER PROFITEERS, like BLACKWATER.


2. RE-DEPLOY THEM STRATEGICALLY - right here at home, in every major city, set up appropriate COMMAND POSTS throughout all known DRUG PROBLEM AREAS. Have complete around the clock, 24-7 PATROLS that will annihilate the ability of pushers and users to control our city streets. This would reduce all forms of CRIME, and help our Police Departments immensely! If this sounds a tad drastic, almost like MARSHAL LAW, THEN SO BE IT - the DRUG PROBLEM in America IS DRASTIC!


3. RE-DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH - instead of greedy huge corporations like HALIBURTON being able to CORNER THE MARKET on MESS HALLS and ICE CREAM, let the little LOCAL businesses make some money by DELIVERING whatever the TROOPS choose to eat: PIZZA, SUBS, HAMBURGERS, CHICKEN, WESTERN FRIES, CHOW MEIN, SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS, STEAMED CRABS OR STEAMED SHRIMP - WHATEVER! This would boost the economy of every community, give every little MA AND PA business a chance to flourish, and boost employment by providing thousands of JOBS! And I’ll bet you the TROOPS will all be grinning from EAR-TO-EAR!


4. START CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALL - slowly, but surely, brick by brick, or stone by stone, a TALL, STURDY WALL the entire length of the AMERICAN-MEXICAN BORDER will once and for all STOP ILLEGAL ALIENS from entering our country from this area. There would be no haphazardness or complexities involved - simply start on ONE END, and keep building until it reaches the OTHER END! During construction, some of our TROOPS would be stationed there, and PATROLING SQUADS OF HUM-V’s would help alleviate the stress of our over-worked BORDER PATROLS. This huge project would also BOOST both sales of DOMESTIC construction equipment and supplies, as well as LOCAL LABOR EMPLOYMENT! Unlike The Great Wall of China, this GREAT WALL OF AMERICA would not contain DEAD BODIES OF WORKERS! What about POST-CONSTRUCTION?


5. WALL NUMBER TWO - the AMERICAN-CANADIAN BORDER would then be secured. Face it, as soon as the UNDESIRABLES learn of the start of wall number ONE, some of them will immediately think about PLAN B - the Northern Route; but some more of our TROOPS will be deployed UP THERE ALSO! Naturally, some will try to jump ahead to PLAN C - SNEAKING IN VIA H-O-M-E-S - THE GREAT LAKES, won’t they? AS POPEYE SAID: “I YAM WHAT I YAM” - GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES NAVY, THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD, AND THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE! The beauty of this operation is that we have an excellent RAPPORT with the CANADIAN Government, and mutual cooperation will ensue mutual SECURITY!


PAUSE THAT REFRESHES - Common Sense and Logic dictate that none of the above major operations of HOMELAND SECURITY will occur overnight. It may take years, more than likely; but guess what PILGRIMS, they are all worthy, worthwhile goals and actions that will guarantee more BENEFITS than the utter STUPIDITY and WASTE that has occurred for over FOUR YEARS NOW IN IRAQ! If you want omelet’s - you got to BREAK SOME EGGS!”
Isn’t that a lot better than having our SONS and DAUGHTERS limbs blown off by roadside bombs?


6. DEPORTATION - after plugging the holes for ILLEGALS entering, the next POSITIVE step to accentuate would be to eliminate the NEGATIVE - send them ALL back from whence they came! While some bleeding heart liberals may be naysayers, crying out that this is too harsh, too cruel, too callous - FACE THE FACTS - ILLEGALS BROKE THE LAW OF OUR LAND! No matter what their reasons, or their causes, or their EXCUSES - ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ENJOY THE BENEFITS, THE RIGHTS, THE PRIVILEGES, AND THE FREEDOMS OF AMERICA MUST FIRST ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITIES, THE DUTIES, THE ALLEGIENCE TO OUR FLAG, AND THE LAWS OF OUR COUNTRY!

“ANCHOR BABIES” just does not cut it! That is one law that needs to be CHANGED! Those that use our own laws AGAINST us, knowing in advance that getting PREGNANT and having children pumped out precociously like Mexican Jumping Beans, in order to GUARANTEE that the parents can stay is RIDICULOUS - PREPOSTEROUS - ASININE - STUPID! It would be inhuman to just break up all these caring, loving FAMILIES, by keeping the innocent children and deporting the guilty parents, wouldn’t it? So, if the parents are proven ILLEGALS, then they ALL should be deported together - PERIOD!


7. ELIMINATE HOMELESSNESS - here, in the RICHEST nation in the world, there should be no such thing as STREET PEOPLE! It is an OUTRAGE! While the old adage “you can lead a horse to water; but you can’t make him drink” may be TRUE - this principle is only valid if the individual is TESTED, and PROVEN to be NON COMPES MENTIS - mentally incompetent, and if this is the case, she/he should be institutionalized and CARED FOR! This is especially true for the hundreds, or thousands suffering from alcohol or drug ABUSE!

ALL others, whether victims of circumstance, victims of fate, or just plain LAZY - should be ROUNDED UP, CLEANED UP, FED AND CLOTHED, PLACED IN CLEAN HOUSING, AND RESTORED TO DIGNITY! In Baltimore City, Maryland ALONE - there are over FORTY THOUSAND ( 40,000 ) BOARDED-UP, EMPTY, VACANT HOMES! Most are in GHETTOES, or SLUM AREAS, and are harbingers of drug abuse, crime, and other despicable acts, just sitting there WASTING.

Cooperative planning, development, and renovation should be organized, involving all levels of government - Local, State, and Federal, local businesses, local communities, as well as various Non-Profit organizations and churches - to restore these eyesores and place these homeless persons INTO them! Even if they were given TITLE, ABSOLUTELY FREE AND CLEAR, the long-term benefits to society would be IMMENSE! The PRIDE and DIGNITY of OWNERSHIP would give these people HOPE - GOALS to strive for - a DESIRE to return to being PROUD, PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS AGAIN!

Sure it will require WORK - sure it will cost BILLIONS - but in the HOLY NAME OF GOD - such a powerful re-building of America is not only ESSENTIAL, but also a better alternative to the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF TAX-PAYERS DOLLARS BEING BLOWN TO HELL IN IRAQ!


8. SENIOR CITIZENS - everything just expounded upon in item 8 above applies here also, maybe even DOUBLY SO! Most of these poor souls spent their entire lives as honest, hard-working, law-abiding citizens - BUT - they OUTLIVED THEIR FINANCES! GOLDEN YEARS OF RETIREMENT? BULLSHIT!

EXORBITANT AND AVARICE-RIDDEN HEALTH-CARE COSTS - MEDICATIONS - PRESCRIPTIONS - MEDICARE AND OTHER INSURANCE PREMIUMS - HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS FEES - HOUSING COSTS - RAPING FELONIOUS UTILITY CHARGES - HEATING FUEL COSTS --- AND BY GOD, EVEN DOG FOOD COSTS… HAVE WIPED THEM OUT - KNOCKED THEM DOWN… AND THEN THEY ARE DUMPED LIKE TRASH… NO ONE WANTS THEM! THE RICHEST NATION IN THE ENTIRE WORLD… DESERTS THEM…

9. DISASTER RELIEF - it is no great secret that FEMA, along with the rest of government, at all levels, all the way up to The White House, FAILED DISMALLY. The wreckage, filth, and still horrendous CLEAN-UP JOB REMAINS UNFINISHED. Rehashing all that went wrong previously will not help all of those people affected. Here is another stellar example of how our TROOPS could be better utilized HERE AT HOME!

The Army Corps of Engineers, the Navy CB’s - Construction Battalions, along with military vehicles, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy-duty equipment could easily render assistance in a compassionate manner, and remove this EMBARASSMENT from our collective consciences. You want to know what the history books will say about the LEGACIES of BUSH? At least two major FAILURES - IRAQ and KATRINA!

10. ESPRIT DE CORPS - The U.S. MARINES HISTORY should function as a BEACON for our entire Nation - “United We Stand - Divided We Fall” --- E PLURIBUS UNUM - ONE FROM MANY --- “Charity Begins at Home!” --- A huge Grass Roots effort MUST BEGIN, which calls upon each and every American Citizen and Patriot to PULL TOGETHER and produce the largest RECONSTRUCTION OPERATION that the “Home of The Free and The Brave” has ever experienced.

Ultimately, a total re-vamping of every existing system needs to occur - the Three Branches of Government - Executive, Legislative, and Judicial need to be OVERHAULED. Real Justice needs to be re-instated. The entire Criminal Justice system is a FAILURE. The avarice of CORPORATE GIANTS must be STOPPED. Businesses have to pay THEIR FAIR SHARE! Tax LOOPHOLES, and Special Interest groups must be CURBED.

A Fair and Equitable NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT needs to be purposely drafted and ENACTED. Education, Welfare, and community Services - Fire Departments, Police Departments, Sanitary and Transportation Departments - ALL of these, and more, need RE-BIRTH. Since the end of the Second World War, for over FIFTY YEARS NOW, the inner workings, the underpinnings, the simple BASICS of our Society have been IGNORED, and ALLOWED TO ROT, LIKE CANCER!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! BITE THE BULLET! WORK HARD AND SWEAT! Those so-called Leaders, or STEWARDS HAVE FAILED MISERABLY - OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER -
Nothing but unkempt, empty campaign promises, political RHETORIC, and quite frankly ---
BULLSHIT!

An ELECTION is rapidly approaching, and all the fancy-smancy DANCING AROUND, and phony DEBATES, trying to OUTGUESS PUBLIC OPINION, running mud slinging campaign ADS - TIPPY-TOEING THROUGH THE PROVERBIAL TULIPS SIMPLY WON’T CUT IT ANYMORE!

AMERICANS WANT TO RECLAIM AMERICA! THEY WANT THE TORCH OF LIBERTY TO AGAIN BE A SHINING EXAMPLE TO THE REST OF THE WORLD! THEY WANT ACTION, NOT LIP SERVICE!

As one of my niece’s just recently reminded me, as a friendly admonition:

“IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, THEN YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!”
