FASCINATING TUTORIAL SITE

MY INSTRUCTIONS - TO TAKE TIME TO FULLY UNDERSTAND:

1. PRINT THIS PAGE FIRST.

2. Copy & Paste this LINK into Browser Window & hit ENTER:

3. As the JAVA is loading, and before trying to use either the AUTO or MANUAL functions, read the entire SITE instructions underneath.

4. When the LOADING is complete, under the picture in the center will be a RED button labeled MANUAL, but the screen will be in the AUTO mode, and will start changing right away. Disregard this!

5. Click that RED button, and it will change to a BLUE button labeled AUTO, and both a LEFT (increase) and RIGHT (decrease) arrow button will appear.

6. Above the BLUE button is a DELAY slider, set for only 1 second - SLIDE it fully to the right to 2 sec. delay. At the TOP, above each picture TEXT will tell you WHAT you are viewing. Under the picture, on the Left shows each change in the Power of 10, and on the Right will show the SIZE of Magnification.

NOTE that the power of 10 to the 0 is a distance of only 1 METER.

This fascinating presentation is all based on using the POWERS of 10 - MAGNIFICATION - from MICROSCOPIC to MACROSCOPIC (TELESCOPIC).

A full range from 10 to the MINUS POWER of 16 - 100 ATTOMETERS (micro) to 10 to the PLUS POWER of 23 - 100 MILLION LIGHT YEARS (macro).

7. This tutorial does not start at either END of the Spectrum, so I found it more understandable to just keep DECREASING until it was at Smallest setting - 10 -16 ........ then slowly just click INCREASE button, taking time to read TOP description AND bottom SIZE, one click at a time - thus allowing time to fully appreciate all 40 pictures, from Micro up to Macro.

I have always been amazed by both Science and Mathematics, and have held the opinion that ALL MATTER is held together by the same Force - some kind of Electro-Magnetism - this magnificent TUTORIAL demonstrates this to my utter satisfaction!
