Well GALZ N GUYZ - there may be some repetition here, I dunno!
Although the concept of gathering these little interplays sounded good, my method did not include the capturing of DATES posted, and the attempts to go back and check them, return, copy, paste was just too tedious.
And, to capture and include ED's counter-responses made it even more difficult. Hopefully most of you TRACK ED, and these comments will not be totally foreign to you.
Anyway, for what it is worth - or NOT - here are some more comments!

FYI - some possible background data for future "Tall Tales." ...
The Three Stooges got their name and their start in a vaudeville act called Ted Healy and his Stooges.
Brothers Moe Howard (Moe) and Shemp Howard (Shemp) were later joined by Larry Fine.
Shemp left for a career in feature movies (notably as trainer Knobby Walsh in the "Joe Palooka" movies, as well as numerous Abbott and Costello films and along side W. C. Fields in The Bank Dick, and brother Jerome Howard (Curly) took his place.
Curly suffered a stroke in 1946 and Shemp left his own successful career to return to the trio. Shemp himself died of a heart attack in 1955.
Throughout their career, Moe was the heart and soul of the troupe, acting as both their main creative force and business manager. It was through Moe's investments and foresight that Curly and Larry were able to retire financially, as they were somewhat spendthrifts in their personal lives.

BUDDY POPPIES - MEMORIAL DAY

Both the poems, and the history, bring back fond memories. As a kid, my Aunt Honey, SOLD those paper Poppies every year! She was the Matriarch of our Hyland family, and held various posts in both the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the VFW one.
When I was around 7 or so, while we visited my Uncle Ben's gravesite on that Memorial Day, a news reporter chatted with her, and we were written up in the newspaper. Somewhere, I still have the wrinkled old clipping. I had a glistening moment of fame!
The poppies also remind me of the old practice of wearing a CARNATION on Mother's Day - Pink, if alive, or White, if deceased? or vice versa?
And the word, BUDDY - reminds me of some old song lyrics my dad used to sing: "I only want a BUDDY, not a sweetheart, BUDDIES never make you cry..."
