BRAINWASHING

Remember “The Manchurian Candidate” - the original one, in 1962, where Frank Sinatra and Laurence Harvey were captured soldiers, and as P.O.W.’s were brainwashed by their Communist captors? Do you recall the intricate plot? We weren’t told or shown what specific methods were employed, or why their minds were being trained for a future evil purpose, but as the story unfolded, the plot thickened.


Were these two soldiers tortured? Was any “water-boarding” employed? Perhaps electric shock? We aren’t told, but obviously, some methodology was employed to ‘train’ them to respond obediently, and immediately to pre-programmed subliminal ‘commands.’ A simple deck of Playing Cards supplied the ‘trigger’ to cause each veteran to react in a certain way, without conscious thought or delay.


Was sodium pentothal - ‘truth serum’ invented yet? Was some other new psychotherapy used to induce hypnosis? Was sleep depravation one of the techniques used? We do not know. And by all means, this was a typical Hollywood movie, based on the 1959 book, by Robert Condon. Do any of these details really matter?


No - it is the concept that is penultimate! The mere idea that a well developed, intelligent human being can be manipulated to commit a heinous offense, sometime in the unknown future - like a robot - that is what is so scary.

"The topic of the movie was considered politically so highly sensitive it was censored and prohibited just before its theatrical release in many of the former 'Iron Curtain' countries, such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria - and even in neutral countries such as Finland and Sweden. The theatrical premiere for most of those countries was held after the collapse of Soviet Union in 1993." Over 30 years!

"Contrary to popular belief, the film was not pulled from circulation following the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. "Prior to the commissioning of the book as a movie, Arthur Krim, then President of United Artists and Finance Chairman of the Democratic Party, is known to have felt uneasy about its subject matter. President John F. Kennedy, as a favor to his friend Frank Sinatra, called Krim to let him know that he had no objection to a film version being made."?


How uncanny is this? The book was written in 1959, the movie about the assassination of a Presidential Candidate, using a Russian rifle, released in 1962 - and the real assassination of J.F.K. in 1963!

Coincidence? And the supposed assassin, Lee HARVEY Oswald - a possibly brainwashed former Marine Sharpshooter, who spent time in both RUSSIA and CUBA! Another coincidence? Laurence HARVEY played the assassin in the film!

Paine was the son of Ruth Forbes Paine, who remarried Arthur Young, the inventor of the Bell helicopter used in Korea and Vietnam. Michael R. Paine and Ruth Forbes Paine Young were Forbes family heirs and as is Sen. Kerry, a coincidence since both he and the assassinated President bear the initials JFK. See Warren Commission report describing testimony of Michael R. Paine and his wife, Ruth Paine."

"Oswald learned Russian during his military career, then traveled to the U.S.S.R. in 1959 where he attempted suicide to avoid being deported as a suspected American spy. The Soviet authorities then permitted him to live in Minsk, where he worked in a television factory and married a Soviet national, Marina (nee Nicholayevna Prusakova OR Alexandrovna Medvedeva) Oswald."

"Some believe that his attempt at defection was a planned CIA operation to gain technical secrets from the Soviets. In Oswald's own words to a friend, he gave the Soviets information that he believed allowed them to shoot down the U-2 spy plane because the military wanted to derail an upcoming summit in which it was feared that President Eisenhower, declining mentally, might be bested by Khrushchev. Either way, he got in and got out quicker than usual Communists."


There are more very interesting statements included in the biography, especially about Cuban and Floridian involvements.

The more I read, the more I was convinced that The Warren Report was a ‘WHITEWASH” - and the more I am convinced of the “CONSPIRACY THEORY!” Lee Harvey Oswald had some very strange and very important people as CONTACTS!

Two days later, he was conveniently murdered on National television, by Jack Ruby - who ran a downtown Dallas striptease club, and was said to have links with organized criminals.

Was he really a “Patsy?” Was he Brain-washed? Was he really a CIA Operative? Will the world ever know the truth?

"Jack Ruby was convicted of the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald on 14 March 1964. The conviction was overturned on procedural grounds, but before a re-trial could take place, Ruby died of cancer in prison on 3 January 1967."

Chief Justice WARREN: Well, it is very hard for me to believe that. I am sure that everybody would want to protect you to the very limit. ?
Mr. RUBY: All I want is a lie detector test, and you refuse to give it to me. ??Because as it stands now--and the truth serum, and any other--Pentothal--how do you pronounce it, whatever it is. And they will not give it to me, because I want to tell the truth. And then I want to leave this world. But I don't want my people to be blamed for something that is untrue , that they claim has happened. ?
Chief Justice WARREN: Mr. Ruby, I promise you that you will be able to take such a test."?

Later, while in jail, Jack Ruby - born Jacob Rubenstein, wrote a letter - this is only a part of it:

Further on in this letter Ruby writes:

"... isn't it strange that Oswald who hasn't worked a lick most of his life, should be fortunate enough to get a job at the Book Building two weeks before the president himself didn't know as to when he was to visit Dallas, now where would a jerk like Oswald get the information that the president was coming to Dallas? Only one person could have had that information, and that man was Johnson who knew weeks in advance as to what was going to happen, because he is the one who was going to arrange the trip for the president, this had been planned long before the president himself knew about, so you can figure that one out. The only one who gained by the shooting of the president was Johnson, and he was in a car in the rear and safe when the shooting took place. What would the Russians, Castro or anyone else have to gain by eliminating the president? If Johnson was so heartbroken over Kennedy, why didn't he do something for Robert Kennedy? All he did was snub him."

"RUBY, JACK (1911-1967). Jack Ruby, killer of Lee Harvey Oswald,qv was born Jacob Rubenstein on March 25, 1911, in Chicago, Illinois, to Polish immigrants Joseph and Fannie (Rutkowski or Rokowsky) Rubenstein. He was the fifth of eight children. Upon his parents' separation, he was placed in a foster home. At age sixteen he dropped out of school and became part of the street life on Chicago's West Side. There he worked at various odd jobs, which at one time included delivering sealed envelopes for Al Capone at a dollar an errand, and engaged in years of street-fighting, often in response to anti-Semitic taunts."


Excerpt from Jack Ruby's Deathbed Interview:

"Q. Is there any truth at all to the stories that Oswald had been in your club?

A. None whatsoever, it's just a fabrication -- in one particular incident that has never been enlightened to the public, I believe, is that a friend of mine, Mr. McWillie who invited me down to Havana, Cuba. I didn't come down, but he finally sent me plane tickets to come down as a good friendly gesture. So I accepted the invitation. I stayed with him for eight days, and then I left, and I had lived constantly with him the eight days, but then right after he called me from Havana, Cuba and said "Jack, I want you to call Ray Brantley at Ray's Hardware store in Singleton Avenue and tell him to send me four Cobras" -- a Cobra is a little revolver. So, I did call him and gave him the address. When I called him he answered and said, "Oh, I know Mr. McWillie very well" so that left it out of my hands.

All I had to do was relay the message, but that is the only extent I ever had of any association with anything [sic] business dealings outside of the United States and that was only a message to relay."

Another coincidence? Jack spent 8 days in CUBA, was that sufficient time to be brainwashed? Was the subsequent phone-call a “trigger?” Was he another “patsy?”

"FBI documents released in 1979 show other instances in which key information was either altered before it reached the Warren Commission, or else withheld altogether. For example, judging from Warren Commission records, the FBI covered up Jack Ruby's connections to organized crime.

The Commission did not receive an important interview with Luis Kutner, a Chicago lawyer who had just told the press (correctly) about Ruby's connections to Chicago mobsters Lennie Patrick and Dave Yaras. All the FBI transmitted was a meaningless follow-up interview in which Kutner merely said he had no additional information."

"In October, 1964, the Warren Commission reported that it "found no evidence that either Lee Harvey Oswald or Jack Ruby was part of any conspiracy, domestic or foreign, to assassinate President Kennedy". It also stated that there was no "significant link between Ruby and organized crime". This information came from friends of Ruby, including Dave Yarras, a Mafia hit man."

"Dave Yaras was born in Chicago. As a young man he became friendly with Jack Ruby. Yaras later worked as a hit man for Mafia boss Sam Giancana. Yaras was also a close associate of Jimmy Hoffa, president of the Teamsters Union and helped establish Teamster Local 320 in Miami.

After the Second World War Yaras worked for the Mafia in Cuba. According to a federal narcotics officer, Yaras "ran a number of gambling operations on the island". After the fall of Fulgencio Batista, Yaras was the "Chicago mob's liaison to the Cuban exile community".

Yaras, considered to be the prime suspect in several gangland killings, was arrested 14 times by the police. In 1947 he was arrested for the murder of James Ragen, the national manager of the Continental Press, an organization that was in conflict with Mafia leader, Carlos Marcello. After one witness was murdered and another disappeared, Yaras was released and no charges were ever brought against him for the killing.

The night before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Yaras telephoned another hit man, Barney Baker. A few days earlier, Jack Ruby also called Baker. Yaras was interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation about these conversations but he refused to give any information on the matter.

Dave Yaras was murdered in 1974."


NOTE: This interview with Robert Blakey - 40 years later - makes more sense to me than any of the other HOGWASH!

"ABC News: In your book you point the finger squarely at Carlos Marcello and his organization. Why would he want to kill Kennedy?

Blakey: Carlos Marcello was being subject to the most vigorous investigation he had ever experienced in his life, designed to put him in jail. He was in fact summarily, without due process, deported to Guatemala. He took the deportation personally. He hated the Kennedy’s. He had the motive, the opportunity and the means in Lee Harvey Oswald to kill him. I think he did through Oswald.

ABC News: How central is Jack Ruby's murder of Oswald to your understanding of this case?

Blakey: To understand who killed President Kennedy and did he have help, I think you have to understand what happened to the assassin of President Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald. I see Jack Ruby's assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald as a mob hit."

18) Joachim Joesten, How Kennedy Was Killed (1968) ?
"And so Jack Ruby, on December 9, 1966, - exactly one day after he had learned that his new trial was going to be held in February or March 1967 at Wichita Falls, about 140 miles from Dallas - was stricken with a mysterious disease first diagnosed as a common cold, then as pneumonia and finally as generalized cancer.

For more than three years, with a death sentence hanging over his dead for most of the time, Ruby had been as fit as a fiddle in the custody of Dallas Sheriff Bill Decker. At no time before December 9, had the prison doctor who visited him regularly, detected any flaw in Ruby's splendid health. But now, with a new trial in prospect in a different place, death quickly overtook the man who knew perhaps more than any other living person (with the possible exception of David Ferrie, then still totally unknown to the public at large) about the real background to the assassination. He passed away in the morning of January 3, 1967 - and another inconvenient trial was happily averted.

As always, my critics are likely to counter at this point with the challenge: 'Where is your evidence that Ruby was murdered?'

The evidence is there, plain to see for anyone with an open mind, but it is purely circumstantial, not tangible.

(The people who arranged for Ruby's death, as they had previously arranged for the overt murders of President Kennedy, Patrolman Tippit and Lee Harvey Oswald, to say nothing of the 20-odd witnesses who have also been disposed of, weren't stupid enough to leave any palpable traces of what they had done.)"

"So what did happen to trigger his cancer ? Alan Adelson tells us in "The Ruby Oswald Affair" that Jack’s sister, Eva Grant, first noticed Jack’s illness as early as June, 1966 , and that by September, he was throwing up every day. If his illness was evident in June 1966, then it is feasible that the onset of cancer coincided with Dr Jolyon West’s visit in April, 1964 to administer hypnosis and drugs. This was the month after the trial ended, and when appeals would be in full swing."

GEE - why HYPNOSIS? Any possible brain-washing re-inforcement? DUH!

"In August 1959 Jack Ruby was invited to visit Cuba by the Dallas nightclub owner, Lewis McWillie. At that time McWillie was supervising gambling activities at Havana's Tropicana Hotel. Later, McWillie was involved in the campaign to have Fidel Castro overthrown after he had taken power from Fulgencio Batista.

Ruby's workers were members of the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA). Ruby had a record of not paying his workers on time and for dismissing them for unreasonable reasons. This behaviour resulted in several disputes with the AGVA. In June 1963 Jack Ruby visited New Orleans where he obtained the services of a stripper known as Jada. After three months she was also dismissed and this caused further union problems. It is claimed that as a result of his problems with the AGVA Ruby made contact with associates of Mafia leaders, Carlos Marcello and Santos Trafficante, during the summer of 1963."

AHA! Ruby was in CUBA just months before the JFK assassination, and subsequently seeking help from a “GOD-Father!” GEE - what possible re-payment might be REQUIRED?

"As a consequence of the desperate need to maintain their position on CE399, 'the Magic Bullet', the Warren Commission refused to accept evidence from a reliable witness which might have thrown light on how the pristine bullet really found its way to Parkland Hospital. Seth Kantor, a member of the White House Press Corps, rocked the Commission's boat when he reported having met Jack Ruby, who was to slay Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement car park of Dallas Police Headquarters but 48 hours later, at Parkland Hospital less than an hour after the President was shot. He knew Jack Ruby and reported in some detail their handshake and conversation. Could Ruby have been there for the purpose of planting CE399? The Commission was not disposed to finding out. They ruled Kantor was mistaken."

BRAINWASHING? What started out as a little thought about a movie, somehow lead me to do more and more research, and eventually grew into a mere layman’s compilation of a bunch of facts and speculation about the greatest crime in the Twentieth Century - the JFK Assassination - a perennial conundrum!

Is it possible that ANY of our other P.O.W.’s have been purposely brainwashed by their captors? Especially Communist North Koreans? Communist North Vietnamese? Islamo-Fascist Muslims?

And yet, WE - THE GOOD GUYS - are still worried about “water-boarding” in GITMO! The trial for the FIVE terrorists being held as the perpetrators of 9-11 is about to begin. How much is this going to cost taxpayers?

GEE - wouldn’t it be nice, if our Interrogators were wise enough to use BRAIN-WASHING - and they all just up and CONFESSED?


Reminds me of the old, old picture of the Three Monkies - one with hands over his Eyes - one with hands over his Ears, and one with hands over his Mouth -

“SEE NO EVIL - HEAR NO EVIL - SPEAK NO EVIL”

NUMBER FOUR - CROSS YOUR CROTCH!



"In Japan the proverb is simply regarded as a Japanese Golden Rule.

Some simply take the proverb as a reminder not to be snoopy, nosy and gossipy.

Early associations of the three monkeys with the fearsome six-armed deity Vajrakilaya link the proverb to the teaching of Buddhism that if we do not hear, see or talk evil, we ourselves shall be spared all evil. This may be considered similar to the English proverb "Speak of the Devil - and the devil appears."

Others believe the message is that a person who is not exposed to evil (through sight or sound) will not reflect that evil in their own speech and actions.

Today "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" is commonly used to describe someone who doesn't want to be involved in a situation, or someone turning a willful blind eye to the immorality of an act in which they are involved."
