There is NO current shortage of oil - the excalating prices are not due to Supply and Demand - nor are the OPEC countries causing this fiasco - it is a mere handful of American Corporations and OIL SPECULATORS - DRIVING UP THE PRICES THROUGH 'OIL FUTURES' BUYING AND MANIPULATION!

WAKE UP AMERICANS - WE THE PEOPLE ARE BEING SCREWED YET AGAIN - AND WE DIDN'T EVEN GET KISSED!

Yes my friends, We The People, US here in the good ole U.S. of A.
have been USED. How so? You may ask. Let me count the ways!

First, let me just run through a list of a few things off the top of my head, without a lot of detail or description, okay?

The original immigrants who founded the Thirteen Colonies were under the heel of oppression of the British King, George. Taxation without Representation - this eventually resulted in The Boston Tea Party - remember that one? US - USED!

Then there was the Occupation and Quartering of British Troops in Colonists homes, along with a few other undesirable actions, like: the confiscation of personal property, chattels, and lands. Anyway, without a lot of ‘who struck John’ - WE - US - finally had ENOUGH, and the ‘Baker’s Dozen’ of Founding Fathers declared the War of Independence against the tyranny of the Despot. That was 1776, and somehow WE - US - WON! HOORAY!

Not too long thereafter, as The United States of America was being formed, and growing, and getting involved in foreign affairs, and learning to function as a young foundling nation - BING - BAM - THANK YOU MA’AM - here come those Bloody Brits again! The War of 1812 was fought on our shores, and somehow, WE - US - WON AGAIN! Francis Scott Key wrote “The Star-Spangled Banner” during this one, at the Battle of Fort McHenry - now a National Monument - not two miles away from where I was born. When I was a kid, we laid on our bellies and dipped big Blue channel Crabs from the seawall there.

To be sure, there were other mentionable ups and downs that occurred, but let us Fast Forward to 1861 - The Civil War. This was a ‘doozie’ that pitted Brother against Brother - killing each other, over the issue of Slavery. Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox Courthouse on April 9th, 1865 - the North, or Federal Troops had won, and the UNION had been preserved. That was a Hundred and Forty-Three Years ago! I personally thank God that these States have somehow managed to stay together this long - in SPITE OF our stupid federal administrators! We The People - US USED!

A little over thirty years later, along came The Spanish-American War. No real biggy, to speak of, but common sense tells us that more American lives were lost. In 1898, Teddy Roosevelt led the Rough Riders up San Juan Hill. Sorry, that’s all I know - like I said - no biggy.

Then, around the turn of the century, all kinds of inventions popped up which further industrialized our country: the horseless carriage, the aeroplane, the dirigible - or airship, assembly lines, factories, line-o-type printing machines, and a whole bunch of other good stuff. People flocked to the cities, employment was up, and everything seemed to be going ‘Great Guns’ for a couple of decades.

Then - Bing - Bam - Thank you, Ma’am - all hell broke loose in Europe! Next thing you know, We The People - US - were involved in The First World War - WWI - “The war to end all wars!” SURE!
Arms, uniforms, rations, military vehicles - trucks, jeeps, tanks, airplanes, ships - along with more thousands upon thousands of American military lives were expended. From 1914-1918, it cost We The People a whole hell-uv-a lot! US USED!

As an aside note here - how come all the WARMONGERING CORPORATIONS who reaped huge profits did not see fit to SHARE any with the returning Veterans, or the destitute Families of those KILLED IN ACTION? Was it the US USED SYNDROME?

Okay, so now, our valiant men are coming home from overseas, and another ‘Boom’ seems to be experienced for less than a decade, things were moving fast and furious, and it was called “The Roaring Twenties!’ Prohibition - Bathtub Gin - Speak-Easies - Organized Crime - Eliot Ness and The UNTOUCHABLES - Tommy-Guns blazing in big city streets, like Chicago and New York - like I said - Fast Times!

When - BING - BAM - THANK YOU MA’AM - the frigging Stock Market CRASHES in 1929! Oh, to be sure, there were people jumping out of windows, and off of ledges - BUT - they sure as hell weren’t POOR people, were they? Perhaps mostly RICH SPECULATORS? No great loss here!

But, then - LO and BEHOLD - WE THE PEOPLE - US - THE POOR WORKING CLASS SLOBS - found ourselves immersed in a period called THE GREAT DEPRESSION! Almost one HALF of all banks FAILED - U.S. Manufacturing output FELL to 54% of its 1929 production level. Between 12-15 MILLION workers, over 25% of the work force LOST THEIR JOBS! Parenthetically, The Federal Reserve System (owned and operated by BANKERS) also SCREWED US AGAIN!

No jobs, no money, no food, bread lines, horsemeat, dried beans, stamps, rationing, Farms were Foreclosed. Homes were lost, Families displaced, Bankruptcies abounded everywhere!

BUT - while We The People - US - in the form of our Grand-parents, Parents, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins, as well as Neighbors were literally starving to death - just WHAT were the RICH and FAMOUS doing? Living ‘high off the hog’ and feverishly working on slapping together some NEW RULES about BUYING ON MARGIN - to protect that frigging Stock Market? DUH! US - USED yet again!

This Great Depression spread like wildfire from the U.S. across the Atlantic to Europe, and around the globe. It lasted approximately ten years, ending around 1939.

We The People - US - were then SAVED! HOW? WAR - World War Two broke out in Europe, and the OVERSEAS ORDERS for ARMS and MUNITIONS came rolling in to our factories and plants. People got jobs again, the economy started picking up again, and some thought maybe there was a ‘silver lining’ - BUT - BING - BAM - THANK YOU MA’AM - on December 7th, 1941, the Japanese BOMBED PEARL HARBOR! OOPS! US - USED YET AGAIN!

So, for the next four years plus, America’s LIFEBLOOD, our Fathers, Mothers, Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neighbors - were shipped overseas to Fight, Die, Get Maimed, and/or return with mental problems and hellish NIGHTMARES!
We The People - US - the little guys, the backbone of America, went and SAVED THE FRIGGING WORLD! US - USED!

So, from around 1946 to the early Fifties, the ‘Yanks Came Marching Home’ and things settled down a bit in the world, and our economy started growing again. Peace and Prosperity seemed to be doing pretty good for just a tad, then - BING - BAM - THANK YOU MA’AM - We the People - US - the U.S. - found ourselves smack-dab in a ‘Police Action’ better known locally as The Korean Conflict! This ‘action’ was actually a result of our esteemed ‘leaders’ failure to ‘nail down’ details of the agreement they made with the Soviets, way back in 1945!

More ‘cannon fodder’ was then promptly expelled for the three years from June 1950 to July, 1953. US USED!

For some reason quite unbeknownst to me, our Nation’s Leaders just can’t seem to LEARN! German Nazism, Japanese Imperialism, Russian Communism, Italian Fascism (and now Islamo-Fascism) are quite different from American STUPIDISM! NONE of them like DEMOCRACY - NEVER DID! NEVER WILL! And you can’t ‘force it down their throats’ like a good dose of Epsom Salts!

Next, we fast forward just a few more years, and guess what? In April, 1961 we had another fiasco! BING - BAM - THANK YOU MA’AM - The INVASION of The Bay of Pigs in Cuba - one of the biggest failures of a covert operation ever perpetrated by the U.S. Government - leaving an American President with ‘egg on his face!’ US USED!

Author’s Note: For a better understanding of just HOW these last two events could possibly have a bearing on the subsequent ASSASSINATIONS of BOTH J.F.K. in the very next year 1963, and R.F.K. in 1968 - see my Article, entitled “BRAINWASHING.”

Well, Friends, I am simply too tired to continue belaboring this essay. We The People - US - the U.S. - were subsequently USED and ABUSED over and over, and over again - The Viet Nam War, The War in Afghanistan, the covert CIA involvements in so many other countries, islands - efforts to overthrow dictators, et cetera - et cetera - et cetera.

Accordingly, it would seem to me, just another thinking American Dum-Dum that - the answer is very simple, i.e. -

The Warmongering American Corporations simply get tired of the miniscule profits of manufacturing ‘Peace-Time’ items, like: cars, trucks, SUV’s, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers - and so forth, so they get the Bankers and Politicians to figure out how to start a WAR - so they can REAP REALLY EXORBITANT PROFITS by OVER-CHARGING OUR OWN GOVERNMENT WITH FICTITIOUS COST OVER-RUNS and such - not to mention to also DRIVE UP THE COST OF OIL, GASOLINE, DIESEL, AND AIRPLANE FUELS - just to satisy their GREED!

Then, these PLANNED INFLATIONARY PRACTICES ripple through our entire economy: food, bread, meats, milk, goods, services - THEY - THE RICH, LURKING BEHIND AND UNDER ROCKS, NOT UNLIKE SNAKES IN THE GRASS - THEY - NEED TO BE STOPPED!

How many more Thousands of American Families have to receive BODY-BAGS before the American People - WE THE PEOPLE - US - finally WAKE UP AND SCREAM - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?
