MY LETTER TO CONGRESSMAN ...

Sent to his local address, as 'they' are all on 'break' yet AGAIN from their D.C. antics!

DEAR DUTCH:

I am in receipt of your finely written letter of September 7th - 2 pages - quite long, and quite informative. Also, its exact DUPLICATE, dated September 10th - oddly enough, both received on the same day - yesterday, Saturday, October 2nd! Obviously they BOTH sat in someone’s computer for almost a month, BEFORE actually being mailed! DUH?

Your Letterhead is quite impressive - no less than Eight Committees and/or Sub-Committees, at least THREE of which supposedly involve INTELLIGENCE! Common sense tells me that you did not write these letters personally - being such a busy, important ‘so-called’ Representative. This leads one to think that perhaps a highly Over-Paid ‘GHOST’ writer is employed, helping to WASTE more of Taxpayers’ money.

Now - to the ‘MEAT’ of the letter itself - all of the Rhetoric and Hoo-Hah explaining all the wonderful, sensitive, caring ‘BULL-SHIT’ about why you voted to GIVE all those Millions upon Millions of OUR DOLLARS to Afghanistani and Pakistani CROOKS! How NOBLE!

It only took me a few minutes to quickly add up all those separate Millions of Dollars in my feeble brain (feeble - why yes - I’m just another STUPID American, little guy - a DUMB citizen, who knows not how to think) - 980M + 536M + 997M + 46M = 2.559B ...

2.559 BILLION DOLLARS = $ 2,559,000,000 - that’s a Lot of ‘HORSE-FEATHERS’ as President Teddy Roosevelt used to say! ALL given to Crooked, Corrupt Politicians in those two Middle-Eastern Countries - the ‘Little People’ over there NEVER SEE IT! And YOU DAMNED WELL KNOW IT!

Meanwhile, back in The States - DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS LIVE IN THE STREETS! A MILLION CLAIMS ARE BACK-LOGGED! THEY ARE DENIED BENEFITS! WIVES AND CHILDREN GO HOMELESS! PTSD WAS IGNORED AND DENIED BY ALL OF YOU ‘UPPITY-UPS’!
Brave Men and Women LOST: Fingers, Toes, Arms, Legs, BRAINS - ALL FOR NAUGHT!

Iraq was and still is - ‘BLOOD FOR OIL!’ The Little People’ over there still WANT for simple BASICS - Water - Electricity - Education - Freedom from TYRANNY! None of those WASTED BILLIONS are included in your ‘well-written’ letters! SEVEN YEARS OF BLOOD AND BULL-SHIT!

Afghanistan, just like Viet Nam - is all about BLOOD FOR DOPE! POPPY FIELDS INDEED! Somebody back here - Some ‘BIG-WHEELS’ are PROFITING by it - and - the WAR-MONGERING CORPORATE PROFITEERS HAVE BEEN ‘CRYING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK’ FOR NINE YEARS!

That, my Dear ‘Representative’ - is merely only ONE ISSUE - VETERANS!

What if some of those Millions, or Billions were used back here in the ‘Good Ole U.S. of A.’
To help Families who were FORECLOSED and kicked out of their Homes? Or, the JOBLESS, who now BEG to receive Unemployment Benefits - while the ‘FAT-CATS’ on Wall Street, and the Bankers, and the Insurance Companies, and ‘THE BIG THREE’ GET BAILED OUT WITH ‘OUR’ MONEY?

Perhaps some Sensible portion of those Billions could have been used to SECURE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER? DRUG TRAFFICKING - ARMS TRAFFICKING - ‘WET-BACKS’ GALORE - ‘ANCHOR BABIES’ - WELFARE BENEFITS - all ‘SUCKING US DRY’!

Or - how about us MILLIONS of Senior Citizens - having our Benefits FROZE FOR TWO YEARS - while YOU 535 GIVE YOURSELVES RAISES?

Meanwhile - the DONKEYS (would ASSES be more Apropos?) blame it all on 8 YEARS of BUSH and the ELEPHANTS (Pea-Brains perhaps?) - and THEY jump up and down, like Nincompoops - Vowing to REVERSE the small amount of GOOD that has been done!

In just about 30 days now - MILLIONS OF US will go to the POLLS! The Tide is about to come in - maybe more like a TSUNAMI?

As a little, old, Retired, Poor, Average Citizen - I have not much power, only my VOTE! However, as a Writer, with a miniscule Website, I have ‘The Power of The Pen’! And I have been using it for well over a year now, to tell people - “VOTE AGAINST ALL INCUMBENTS!”

The Status Quo - is No Mo! Enough is Enough! “A NEW BROOM SWEEPS CLEAN!”

INTELLIGENCE ? WHERE? CERTAINLY NOT IN ALL THE ‘LAWYERS’ IN CONGRESS!
