Friday, a week ago, a Family Gathering -
Ten of us had a Reserved Table at:
TERRY’S Restaurant in Brooklyn Park -
Ritchie Highway, near Church Street.
Arrived at Seven pm, and ordered our Meals -
Show started promptly at Eight!
Lights! Camera! Action!
A One-Man Show that was Terrific!
He is Relaxed, but certainly Not Reserved!
Walks through the Audience, getting Full Participation -
Teases both the Ladies, and Gents Too!
First Set - a Solid Hour - Non-Stop!
The Place - a Family Restaurant, with a Family Fare -
Menu was All-Encompassing -
I had a Delicious London Broil for a Mere $9.95!
Non-Diners simply pay a $2.00 Charge!
Estimated 125-150 People -
Promptly Served by about 10-12 Waitresses!
During ‘Breaks’ he got people up on their Feet Dancing!
A Great Time was had by All!
Second Set ran another Hour -
Finger and Toe-Tapping Abounded Everywhere!
When ‘Sir Rod’ did ‘Maggie Mae’
He ‘Brought the House Down’!
My Niece, Bernie, bought his CD for a mere Ten Bucks!
And It Is Good!
