They had a Monorail that worked Beautifully.

That was Over 32 Years Ago!

Cities in other Countries have had them for Years.


Why Can't Baltimore & Other American Cities Build Them?

Because BIG OIL is Against It ???

Today I listened to a Talk Show on Radio ...
The Mayor of Baltimore was on it.

One of the topics was the City's Transportation System.
The New Governor Kogan put the Kibosh ...
To the Red Line, but No Alternate Plan offered.

I tried to call in with my Suggestion ...
But the line was Busy.

About 53 Years ago, around 1962 ...
My First Trip to Atlantic City, N.J.
They had these Cute Little Busses, called Jitneys!

They were only about ˝ the Size ...
Of the Behemoths used today in most Cities.

These Big-Assed Monsters Have ...
Always been a Pet Peeve of Mine.

Stinking Diesel Fumes ...
And the Drivers treat them like Ostriches ...
Pulling the Nose in to the curb at every Stop ...
But leaving the Ass-End Out, Blocking Traffic!

It would seem to me that Smaller Jitneys ...
That maybe held ˝ as many People ...
Might be less cumbersome to Traffic ...
Cost Less to Purchase ... and Less to Operate.

Sure, you would need More of Them ...
To handle the Volume, but is it not Worth a Try?
