A we quickly approach the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's utter devastation, All Pets Radio has announced the establishment of a Katrina Pet Memorial website to honor, and to remember, all the tragically left behind animals on the Gulf Coast.

This website will include pictures and stories of rescued pets now happily living in new homes all across the country,  tales of marvelous pet and human reunions that occurred after Katrina, and a special memorial to those pets who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy - the largest pet rescue operation ever launched in the United States. 

It will also include a few of my poems from my Katrina remembrance book, Through Katrina's Eyes, Poems from an Animal Rescuer's Soul.

This new website will be an on-going and ever growing effort to explore and to celebrate that truly unconditional love that only a pet can provide us, and hopefully, explore what we can all do to prevent such a terrible tragedy from ever happening again.

Plus, as an effort to help stop the escalating pet overpopulation problem in the United States, half of all advertising dollars made on this site will be donated to animal shelters across the country to help cover spay and neutering costs.

This memorial website is scheduled for launch on September 1, 2006.
