Anxiety is the root of fear by Lorraine Watkins
Rated "G" by the Author.
Anxiety is the root of fear. Fear is false evidence appearing real. Anxiety is also a mental disorder that causes a person to be stagnated and cause them not to move forward in their lives.
ANXIETY
Anxiety is the root of fear. The bible tells us that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Anxiety is also classified as a mental disorder that prevents people from doing things productively, even simple things like getting out of the house and taking a brisk walk down the street. It can be demobilizing and some people have to take prescriptions to deal with this disorder. It can take its toll on your mind and body making you feel pain and fatigue. You visiualize yourself doing what you had plan to do on a certain day and then you freeze up. It can become so bad, that it can bring on headaches, panic attacks for no physical reason. Your hearts pounds fast, sometimes you feel like you are having a heart attack and feel weak and too numb to move your arms and your legs. You can actually freeze in a standing position or a laying position. It makes your head ache so badly, you begin to cry uncontrollable tears and you cannot help yourself. If this is you, you need to go to the ER or make a doctor's appointment and get the help you need to cope with anxiety. More and more people are experiencing this because of what is happening in the world today. And yes, we do have to pray and trust God for healing and restoration, but if it prevents your from fully living your life, you need to get some help. Millions of people live with anxiety everyday, but there is help out there.
You have described anxiety very well and succinctly. Anxiety is also the root of religion. Without fear there would be no need for the protection of religion.

But our fear and the biblical stories makes them taboo for many people.
