Recently someone brought to my attention the importance of 'unstructured actions', such as dance, singing and laughing. I had never really thought about it, but we spend a great deal of time in linear motion...moving, achieving, and working. We repeat exercises, sit at a desk; go through the same motions every day. These repeated actions have a tendency to lock us into modes of thinking that limit our creativity and freedom.
Although it may seem strange at first, try to incorporate some 'unstructuredness' into your life. Do things out of the ordinary. Dance, move, flap your arms like a crazy person! Sing out loud, especially if it a 'made up song'! Change your patterns...look for new ways of doing things!
I am going to try this myself and see what happens. Just the intention to do things differently can sometimes shift our energy. Give it a shot!
