Mind Set—What was your mind set when you were a child? Who, What, Where, When, Why, and how were you.
I had a lot of curiosity. I loved reading. I also vividly remember reading reindeer stories. I grew up in St Cloud, Mn in a yellow house down from the court house after WWII. The theology technique I leaned at CSBSJU is lectio divina. Read sacred texts over and over until their is a spiritual transformation in your ordinary day. Be not conformed. Let your mind be transformed. Place the reindeer story in the context of advent and Christmas. The Santa Claus story came out of Turkey. Consider purchasing a flight ticket to Turkey in search of the travels of St. Paul or Santa Claus. Knock the dust off your sandals. The child becomes the man. Become a man in motion.
