Falling at His Feet

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (KJV)
That’s just how it is when you fall at the feet of the Master, the Savior. When you come, really come to the cross...when God has drawn you to His Son, your eyes are opened and you see Him, in all His Glory....and you leave all things behind and you follow. “The world will hate you because ye are Mine”, He says, and you shall live those very words with such a warmth in your heart and a smile on your face...for there is none other than Christ Jesus, there is no other way to heaven, nor to the Father, except through Him, in which ye believe!
We all are searching, and we end up searching in all the wrong places. Just like the familiar song: “Looking for love in all the wrong places” we seek in every cranny hole that we can find, to try to capture that higher power, that affection that our hearts yearn for. We spend entire lifetimes, trying this and that, only to be led once more to a dead end street; hurting more than we did before.
There is nothing more sweetly than to follow your heart when it’s found its resting spot.
We marry to try to fill a void in our life, sometimes taking the first offer that comes along.
We allow ourselves to lower our own self-worth in exchange for a few moments of bodily pleasure, and yet, when we wake the next morning, we have found nothing.
We bear children in hopes to have something warm and cuddly that will love us in return, and we devote our lives to our children. Yet, we have not found our own father who will never forsake us, nor leave us lacking in knowledge in how to really love.
We surround our lives with many friends, hoping that we will find ourselves sharing conversation that stirs our souls, and not just our minds.
We are all searching, and we continue to search in all the wrong places, with our hearts being ripped from our chests, time and time again; never to be restored. But, we carry on in our lives building and re-building, hoping for something new to come our way. We are children, looking for our heavenly Father, and we know Him not because we haven’t been shown the way to find Him.
He watches us from above because He is the Alpha and the Omega, the all-seeing and knowing, and yet we can’t really fathom how that works. Just as Jesus told Nicodemus “You hear the wind, and you know not where it comes from, yet you cannot believe in me.” We find ways in which we allow ourselves to believe in anything, and yet we can’t trust to believe in Him.
He waits on us, as He tenderly guides us in our lives, never being noticed or acknowledged. He is never given the credit for our good fortunes, and He is always blamed for the devil’s deeds. He holds out His hand and His patience is long lasting as He waits for us to call out, to pray to Him. He told the disciples that “Ye have not asked anything in my name, ask and ye shall receive.” We can come to Him today, no matter where we have been and no matter what road we have traveled, He already knows, and yet He waits.
His blood is waiting to cover our sins so that we may join and be with Him as He is with His Father. His blood waits to be poured out on you, for you to accept it that He has already bled for you. His blood is pure and heals and restores. His blood changes lives, turns them around, makes the impossible, possible.
He doesn’t force, He only offers eternal life to those who shall believe upon Him.
Have you ever sat alone, with no one else around and bent down on your knees, or lowered your head as you sat at the table, and called out to see if He is there? Have you took the time to listen to see if He will answer? Have you wondered lately what is going on in the world with all things happening around you? Where is the world heading and who shall be the one to restore what has been lost? The world knows Him not, and they follow anything they can follow, and they make choices to not call upon the Lord. Do you really want to follow a world that seems to be plummeting into some darkness we have never seen?
Jesus said that “all will be taught by God.” Isn’t this amazing? God, the Creator of all things will teach us if we allow Him into our hearts. He will take us aside and teach us His ways, not the world’s ways because the world has chosen the lesser things that are not of God. But, today, if you can call out to Him, then He will make Himself known to you, take you into His own mind and share with you all His thoughts. He will show you how love was intended to be, with no crying, no sorrows, no more death and pain. He will stay by your side through each worldly tribulation so that you can remain in Him. Then, when the world will come to its final close, you can rest assured now, today; that He will raise you up on that day, and He will take you unto Him, to always be where He is.
The Lord Jesus Christ is only a breath away, and may you give Him the chance to save you from the sins that spilled out onto the world when it went astray. May He reach down and pull you unto Him, and may you acknowledge Him in the good times, being able to recognize that there is more to this life on earth than just living out the days.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17) (KJV)
God’s love is a strong love. It is a love we know nothing about on earth, for we have become separated from God, through sin. But because He has given us His Son, we can return to the Father, through His Son. His love is a love that will carry you through this old world all the way into eternity. Without His amazing love, we would miss out on eternity. Make that choice today that you will choose Him to be your Savior……and God bless.
Kadee Grace is in love with Jesus and has fallen at His feet, found her love of her life. She continues to trust only in Him for her salvation and the cleansing of her soul. Knowing Him when she was a child and seeing then how He came down to her, watching over her in most difficult times, she knew of Him. Carrying on through a busy life like many of us do, she tried to live her life on her own. But one morning as she watched so many things changing in the world around her, she ran to God on her knees, pleading that He show her what was going on and why things were changing so drastically. Immediately at her call unto Him, He scooped her up, sending her to His Son, Jesus Christ.
That morning could never be described in words that we know here on earth, but she spent an entire day as she fell to the floor, finally knowing how her Savior had taken her place on the cross, on her behalf. With tears indescribable, she poured out her heart to Him, needing washed in His forgiveness. The whole morning and into the afternoon, He shown to her amazing things, things only the Lord can show a child who seeks. He at once opened her eyes to truths that were taking place all over the world, giving her meanings to things she was seeing. Then during the most amazing moment, she was given the opportunity to see God’s amazing love that He has for His own creation … “us”.
Watching in her now spiritual eyes, she saw how He feels when a child, just one child is hurt. He began teaching her His Word, pouring light into her, filling her with His Truth. For an amazing eight weeks straight, the Lord took her to the side with her husband, opened the Word and taught them, word for word, from the start to the finish. He explained Hi amazing love and His amazing justice. The Lord will do this same thing for anyone who calls out to Him, and once you have truly fallen at His feet, there will be no turning back, for what He has, you cannot find anywhere on earth. To God be all the glory.
