Waking to Jesus feeds the heart, mind and soul Before I gave Jesus my heart, falling at His feet; my life was empty, lacking something. I was happy and satisfied loving my family, but there was something that I lacked for myself. I could hear the words "I love you" from my husband or my children, and it was such a blessing. But deep down inside of me, something was missing. No matter how much I am loved on this earth, my soul needs to be reached, to be held and to find its resting spot. Only through finding Jesus, did I finally find the place where I rest.
He gives to me a love that no person can give here on earth. He is my Lord, and I follow Him and agree with His Holy ways.
He is my Savior, and I treasure His offering of His blood so that I may be saved.
Until we find Jesus, we will seek and not find. We will reach and never capture. Our hearts will cry out for our Maker, to be returned to Him who created us with His own hands.
I am so glad to have found Him and I sing sweet songs of His Name. Glory to God for giving His only begotten Son.
