It is a two tier city situated in the heart of Gujarat with the IIT -A being the top ranked enginering college in Asia. Anyway, being land locked it had a dry climate during December with winters only poring in. 

I didn't have much problem in reaching the venue but the interesting thing was my Uber cab driver actually drove twice round the venue before actually halting there, he had no clue of the place. The place was very prominent turned out the cab drivers were more lustful than focused. As 2days after I returned from the wedding the newspapers reported a rape case by a Uber Cab driver thaat flared across India like wild fire. 

The groom had arrived in the morning and had put Mehendi on this hand. It was after a very long time I met my friend. Ever since college got over, I hadn't met any of them. The fun started from there on till the end when the reception took place.. 

I really freaked out with all my friends. It was more of a reunion with lost old buddies than anything. We had a Sangeet where the performers wanted to enact their stage a dozen times, to their hearts content. We had the most amazing north Indian food, the spread was super. 

The area spreading over the Wedding reception was grand. It was like a football ground. The best bit was with the new friends I met and made over there. The entire lot was so simple and caring. 

A destination wedding which'll stay with me till time passes me away.
