Genji samurai were eager to take their enemies out of water to prove they had distinguished themselves in battle far from the Capital. But the Genji didn’t dive into the wave; their metal armor would have dragged them to the bottom of the sea. They saved only the O-Kimi’s mother and some high warriors.
