Every Human Ego is a unique and free self-conscious spirit emanating from the Great Spirit itself.

Naturally, the ego is egotistic; because, it wants to be in full control similar to God. This impulse inexorably generates self-pride, which is directly proportional to its existence. It creates a very distinct life of self-pride when it separates itself from the passive, omnipotent spirit. Hence the term: The pride of life!

In controlling itself, life becomes a competition, and the pride of winning gives ammunition to the worldly ego. Alas love, being the very essence of collaboration, becomes its adversary.

For one to be in control at all times in an environment of mysterious destiny, fear will always be the guiding star. The spirit of the ego is as omnipotent as the Great Spirit, for it is the seed of its great love. Nonetheless, it is a seed that sprouts from its protective shell of unconditional love and grows to be like its progenitor. As the ego gently emerges from the seed and confronts the darkness of the physical world – where it must develop during its somatic phase of spiritual evolution in conscience, the spirit of the ego will naturally be horrified. So it begins to build walls and construct its unique fortress as it lays down its roots in the darkness, and in the fullness of time, becomes more fortified than Fort Knox. No man is an island, but most egos are; some like Alcatraz, dreadful and uninviting. Though we encompass the sea of material realm, the spirit of our ego remains resolutely in a cocoon of trepidation as we find the ethereal far too elusive.

Nevertheless, the Ego, which develops with an unbridled faith in love, will flourish in the wisdom of the Great Spirit. Even so, the forces of the ego that have harkened to the desire to acquire God-like status have been triumphant in the intellect over emotion. The more impassive you are, the more godlike you become. But without the spirit from which the ego manifests in the world to counsel, it is an imprudent god entrapped in a world of constant fear shielded by countless Weapons of Mass Destruction. Thus, it needs to assert itself concertedly throughout its mortal existence, demanding gigawatts of intellectual and physical energy. Inadvertently, man, who is supposed to work to live, ends up living for work. Man’s ego is not bound by the heart – the spirit of love and truth, manacled by the travails of a ruthlessly egotistic mind.

God is viscerally natural, and since we are His offspring, our ego is a separate, conscious being of the loving kind. As the ego unyokes from the conscience of God within a year or so of birth and steadily subsumes in the perishable body; pride empowers its mind. To die in combat is to save the pride, so men have always lived in fear and primed for war.

In His infinite wisdom, God installed our ego in a mortal body so that we will be able to discern life from pride and eclipse the desire for self-glory; to rise from the dust to the meek and graceful eternal presence through its union with the divine Ego. There is nothing more glorious than to be God. Innately, the ego wants to be like God, for all to fear and obey it as they obey God.

So He came strolling on the sea, and said, “Fear not; be of good cheer, it is I.” “The work of God is to believe.”

Yet, regardless; children are taught to follow like dogs and not shown to love like God. They are sent to the Pharisees and Sadducees to learn the doctrines of man's God – the ego, where God is deposed by money, and the Law takes the place of Love. In the parlance of ego, education is for earning a living and obedience for how to live. Fearing love, they do everything; the ‘L’ word becomes virulently discordant for the mighty ego.

Therefore, He said, “You cannot serve God and Mammon.”

If only we listened to our heart, loved with our greater spirit and were our radix self, we would have nothing to fear, and nothing to hate but fear. God does not desire after acceptance or obedience for He is ever-present, and only seeks unity – Togetherness or Oneness in its omnipresence. There is none that lives, no atom that exists, that will remain detached in the universe, for the very Source and the Consciousness of existence and the Heart of the cosmos persist not apart.

For that reason, He said, “My Father and I are one.”

Jesus embraced love until His last breath, accomplishing the crossover to his eternal state. Thus, He established the Truth and the Way of the Eternal Life. He cast out many people’s forebodings by illuminating the infinite power of love with absolute faith and perfect humility, and thus He emboldens His Apprentice. ‘And, many are called, but a few choose the Heart that leads to Life save the detached Ego that will vanish with the body into the dust from which it was fashioned.’

Because, He said; “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him renounce his own life and take up his cross and follow Me.”

All you need is faith in love, and all you need to do is love. Unlike the 'special' and exclusive needy love of the ego, it’s only natural to love universally with no expectations of reciprocity – to be inherent in this transient world.

“Verily, Verily, Verily; the adversaries of Love will sift you like wheat, but with the faith of a seed of mustard grain, you shall overcome the loftiest of egos and calm its raging waves of terror, even as you stride the darkest depths of despair, through the perilous valley of the fated shadow of death; O ye, of little faith.

For they hated Me before they hated you. Will I now not gird up Myself, and serve you at My table? Did I not say; I will come to you? Did I not say that vengeance is Mine and, I will repay?”

Thus, do not fear love, the Light of Christ that elucidates your ego while trying to be your own master. Breakthrough the nutshell and drown in the ecstatic ocean of love, and let Him guide your rudder in the sea of dust until the ashes. For you are not merely of matter that turns to soot, but indeed of the Conscious Source of all Concern, conscientiously brought forth and primed to Freely Commune in that Eternal Spirit of the Divine-Kind.

"I come, so that they may know Life; and realise it more intimately."

Heaven and earth – pride and honour will pass away in the shifting sands of power and praise, but the Light that is Life, the alpha and the omega will prevail.

“And the Life is the Light of men.”
