Take action now!

When you’ve been told many times that something is yours, and that you can get it if you need it, any time you want, on your own terms, why would anyone in the world hesitate when it comes to getting that thing? That is the question I was asked this morning by the pastor in Church. He wanted to know why I and other people make so many wonderful plans in our heads about the wonderful things we’re going to do and then when action time comes, we always find a reason to postpone the job. What really stops you from reaching out and getting what you need in life? Is it lack of money? Some people think money is the problem. But then if money is the problem then why not make up your mind to get money so that it won’t be a problem anymore? Probably because once you make as much money as you think you need to get whatever you wanted in the first place, more needs will arise and then you’ll find out that the money you made isn’t enough. You’ll realize you need more money. And the cycle of needing more money never ends because the more our financial situation improves, the more our appetite for the things bought by money increases.
