Just some more updates, really.

Hello Everyone,

To start with, I want to disclose that I will be publishing my personal blog on both Medium and Author's Den. Not quite the full disclosure you were expecting, I'm sure, but it's mainly for my audience on Author's Den as I'm expanding the blog to Medium and altering its format to include that audience.

I have some follow up about what happened at the store. My wife went to that particular store just this morning, wearing her mask, and they served her with no problem. I don't know if it was the same clerk, but that's interesting nonetheless.

In lighter news, Maxwell is starting to warm up. He is showing a good interest in playing and likes string the best so far. He's a very scaredy-cat and has picked the bedroom that doesn't have any guinea pigs, of whom he's still quite wary. I've gotten him to come out of the room a few times, but he won't go out very far.

Our latest guinea pig rescue, Princess Ladybug, has had her hair grow out more, and it makes her look twice as wide as it seems to be growing quite long. She is still getting along very well with Ginny and Murphy and likes to groom their cheek area. They both seem to like it until she starts to pull really hard. It's pretty dang cute.

She has also gained over one hundred grams since we got her, which is pretty significant. If she's not pregnant, which we don't think she is, then that proves that she is much younger than the year and a half age the prior owners told us. Time will tell, though.

In writing news, chapter three of book two is coming along well but slow as we are still preparing for the upcoming inspection. On top of that, my wife is preparing to go with her sister to the coast to spread their mother's ashes. She will be gone for nearly three days and I expect to get a lot of writing done in that time. I'm really looking forward to writing part two of Starbrood; my new free-to-read scifi series on Medium and Author's Den.

What did one loaf say to the other? I was bread for this.
