cactus, sentinel
watching the birth
of the days,

what is born on this
day is alive, spirit,
body, and soul,

the splines poke
knowledge into
our skin so we
can bleed with
sharpness,

the sparrow sings
her song, and today
she sings Happy Birthday
to Regis!

SAGE! YOu go girl! I will copy and re-send to Reg. I'm proud to have him as my friend~! With being away I had no idea, I missed his Birth-day.... Great tribute to a Special Warm Hearted Lovin' man!
You spoke it well, Nature rules his heart and it shows with all he writes about. Leos are very sentimental, and that sure does describe Regis! Hope it was Wonderful and a Joy in many ways Reg. Sage - thank you and I'm glad I came across this wonderful poem you tributed to a Rich man- Regis- Rich in the warmth of his heart and soul! and all the friends that love him so!
