My FEMINIST FOLKTALES: A CATHARSIS FOR ANXIETIES AND A SOURCE OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR LIVING LIFE FROM A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE serves a dual purpose. I also wrote these Feminist Folktales for the college classroom to teach women of their co-dependency, delusions, their lies, and living off of others and basic mental health issues...

I have covered alot of ground in this book FEMINIST FOLKTALES: A CATHARSIS FOR ANXIETIES AND A SOURCE OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR LIVING LIFE FROM A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE...personally emotional and cultural

IT IS NECESSARY TO SAY...given the appearance of a past relationship between two women, (notice how the pond is full this year" and "how green the alfalfa fields are,") giving the impression that this is a relationship in full bloom.

Rather, one woman is saying her permanent goodbye on the exit ramp of the mind's Interstate. I have covered alot of ground in this book FEMINIST FOLKTALES: A CATHARSIS FOR ANXIETIES AND A SOURCE OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR LIVING LIFE FROM A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE...personally emotional and cultural.

How many of us can relate to this? Said truthfully and not out of spite so we are clear why there was a breakup, one woman wants to grow and thrives on higher learning while the other woman insists on keeping with false pretense and her same old, destructive ways, ego writing checks her body can't cash. It isn't a question of choosing, it is a matter of doing what is right and living up to what is conveyed without compromise. Some of us have positive influences in our lives and some get fed bane information and vow to live with negative influence trapped in their own makings of turmoil, living in upheaval and deception.

How nice it is when there is an emotional break-up, love dies, that one can reflect on positive things. If one can, it is always good to walk away a lady. To move on and to have closure, one has to think of it in these terms. When the full impact hits......................it has been said that grass and other women soften the outline of the hard world. I am inclined to believe this.

The Roots from which these feminist story lines evolved grew this way, that way, and another way.

Sometimes stories grow into novels and sometimes novels grow out of stories. Both instances are true for FEMINIST FOLKTALES: A CATHARSIS FOR ANXIETIES AND A SOURCE OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR LIVING LIFE FROM A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE.

Recognizable, a chosen few of these same stories and essays have appeared in my various novels, as part of a much bigger story, for instance, S'LEDGE AND THE EMU BUSH is published on the pages of my novel FROM THE CONVENT TO THE RAWHIDE: THE SAGA OF SADIE CADE AND VI MONTANA.

Although the original stories have the same core, the material and central part, when grouped with stories of the same pith, they are comprehended more abstruse and have a more profound meaning, therefore my reason for doing this becomes quite clear to my readers. When previously-written stories are brought back, they enhance the newly-composed stories for a fusion of literary balance.

Now back to one of the selections in FEMINIST FOLKTALES:A CATHARSIS FOR ANXIETIES AND A SOURCE OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR LIVING LIFE FROM A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE IT IS NECESSARY TO SAY.

...It is necessary to say. It is necessary to say what this relationship you had with her.

...It is an attempt, through sampling, to show how women shape one another, with an emphasis on living a less materialistic life, the heart of the relationship revolving around nature and spiritual and intellectual prosperity, given to learning and higher thinking, the life of the mind and the arts.

...It is necessary to say how many times the both of you have "said your goodbyes on the exit ramp of the mind's Interstate." But know this, you made your way to her on a good road.

...You notice how the pond is full this year, how green the alfalfa fields are, the harvest of the country dwellers, and above all, you notice how the grass and other women soften the outline of the hard world.

...You retrace many of your own country's sites, especially the forests when you were a little girl coming home through them from school and on your last visit there, where you hear the voices and names of the families and towns you are versed in. The key to knowing your turnaround is knowing...

...Knowing her mystical reverence for nature when you showed up in her town at her door where she met you with kindness, hospitality, and plenty. Instantly, she wanted to present you with a lavender mailbox, powder blue stationary, and a sheet of pink heart stamps with lace around the edge so you could send and receive many classy informations that warrant no gossip.

...It is the aromatic season for baking bread in coffee cans, treating pine cones with cinnamon, filling half-orange skins with salt, bottling fusions of herb vinegars, visiting vineyards, cider stands and orchards for berries, apples, pears, peaches, plums, and pumpkins.

...It is necessary to say, quite often, she has taken the time to smell the roses with you when she takes the lid off the old-time rose jar filled with dried rose petals, rose oil, glycerin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice.

...Samhain (Halloween) comes, and there are votive candles flickering from inside sand-filled paper sacks, luminarias. At Thanksgiving, the goose is roasted with ease, and the cranberries have quite a bright bite. At Yule, springerle cookies are baked. The first day of spring lingers with the scent of crushed bay leaves strewn about in the wicker picnic basket.

...Studiously, on a fresh roll of butcher paper, she has often written of her relationships (Excerpt from STONE CREEK WOMAN). She prefers to first write on meat-wrapping paper because it preserves nature-based products. She has stored the nature-based words, froze the fall paragraphs so they can season, then slowly unthaw them in the softness of a snowflake one spring when it is time to make her novel.

...It is neccesary to say, she has provided you with an intelligible way of understanding what happens to women forever changes who and what we are....

Interesting stuff is happening here, not sure I can say I understand 100% but a lot of it sinks in and swims upstream to my brain.

Sage, I truly don't care what you write about...because whatever the subject...Lesbian or not...(generally it is)...your talent and writing skill is always at the handle of the basket! I don't always comment because sometimes I feel that it doesn't relate to me per se' but as a woman, it usually does! So...keep writing...and God keep you safe and always working toward your goals... hugs, lindalaw
