Sage Sweetwater, screenwriter of Evil Seed Trilogy, adapted to film from the Sci-Fi/Action-Adventure novel by C.G. McGovern-Bowen, has plans for the serializaton of the internal chronology and order of Evil Seed. After the third feature film is written, Sweetwater has tentative plans to write hour-long streaming installments of the left-over material in the book, remaining with the continuity of the first three films as a continuation of the previously established storyline denoting this Evil Seed series as a franchise. She's not sure how many hour-long episodes she will be able to extract, but it looks like it will be at least two, maybe three, beginning with the sixty-minute streaming title, The Return of Evil Seed: Episode 1, denoting Evil Seed Trilogy and spin-off episodic series as a franchise, broadcast with video on-demand Internet streaming media Netflix, and boxed additionally DVDs and Blu-Rays.
In this sense the Evil Seed Trilogy can be regarded as a prequel and a sequel (both a prior and a continuing story.)
