BUT WHAT'S REALLY A SHAME IS THE FACT THAT LANAIA DOESN'T REALIZE THAT SHE COULD CHANGE THE CHARACTERS AND THE SITUATION THEN TAKE THE PAIN, MISTRUST AND DECEPTION OF THAT EXPERIENCE AND PROBABLY TURN IT INTO A GREAT NOVEL. I, too have a story ... about a printer. I'll share it with y'all sometime. Fortunate I have a wonderful successful story about a different printer.
That is why I prefer to write everything by myself. I write whenever I'm inspired, off the top of my head.
I do not like to plagiarize, nor do I need to translate poetry from authors of another language to write my own poetry. To translate poetry of another language without the permission of the original author's consent would be the same as plaigiarism. I hope some people know that.
To acquire a literary agent one needs to do background check, you just don't sit around snd think that another person would do the job for you. You'll need to find out the person's past credentials. How many years the agent has been working already? And what has been successful already that had been represented by the agent? A email to those successful authors just so you can verify the truthfulness of the agent's claim and his/her character would also be a good thing to know for you'll need a good and honest person to work with you - one who is easy to get along with others Just MHO.
Good point. Ron. There are over 4-million books available on AMAZON alone. Unless you're a celebrity or an established author, not even God can get readers to notice your book. Therefore, never pay a publisher, agent or promoter to increase sales of your book. It's just money down the toilet.
