THE ANCIENT FLOOR WE DANCE ON
8.3 billion and counting.
Few pause to question the wisdom of this. “Increase and multiply” still hums beneath everything, as if the species knows where it is going.
Nietzsche warned that humanity “moves in the direction of its greatest danger,” yet we march on as though progress were guaranteed.
There is something to be understood that has long been spoken but obscured—clouded over by a force of ignorance that has no body in the order of energy.
It has no body because it has everybody.
The seed of life is an eternal movement from which all else grows.
Heraclitus called it "the ever-living fire", the one process that renews itself endlessly.
We observe plants growing and accept it as linear, but this
is not so. All things grow from the same eternally recurring seed.
The universe is similarly disposed, for the recurring movement has no frequential limit.
David Bohm described this as "the holomovement" —a single, unbroken flow from which the visible world unfolds.
Eternity gives and gives without question, and sooner or later we must recognize the benefactor of life - the same dollop of energy repeating from 'nothing' and voilà—the world of energy appears.
But energy is dually afflicted, for the seed has its cause, intrinsic and therefore ubiquitous.
Spinoza called this cause "Deus sive Natura"—God or Nature—one substance expressing itself everywhere at once.
The cause of the primal movement is silent within and frequents all the spaces of life with impunity. It is the engine of the universal cycle, the alternate world within the world.
It sees us simply as feedstock and protects its domain by attacking any individual who dares glance at the world as a recurring spectacle.
Carl Jung described the collective psyche as one that “defends itself with every means at its disposal.”
The collective has the power to navigate and destroy as it lives through its universal body.
This alternate world is also energy with the advantage of being everywhere at once, in complete control, because we are not aware that it exists - that it lives in all things at once— that it is in your head.
This monster of time is the sum of our thinking with no life of its own. It is the manifestation of collective will, the emergent mind that arises when billions of thoughts align without intention.
There is no other. Energy has divine purpose, and because we are cleverly disposed—8.3 billion strong—to maintain life for its own sake, we do not look back.
All as one we are masters of destiny and you and I are part of the war machine.
All as one, there is no other but one body with one mind directing its life with impunity.
We dance on an ancient floor we do not see.
It's time to change dance-floors.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” — Carl Jung
